Amanda's Baby Registry

Arrival Date: Oct 3rd, 2018

Hello! As you probably already know, Steven and I are expecting twins (!) Identical girls. We are both very excited and nervous and everything in between. On this registry, we've included a few items that we've done our research on and would love to have. We know there is a lot missing from this list: baby wipes, burping cloths, bottles, infant hygiene products, blankets, and everything in between! We welcome all of these as gifts, even if they're not listed on our registry. We also welcome Amazon gift cards - we know twins entail double of everything. They're also a lot of work and will make it difficult to get out of the house for the first few months. Amazon will be our best friend when it comes to replacing everyday essentials. Gift cards in any amount will be much appreciated!

DIAPERS:

It's estimated that twins will use roughly 7,000 diapers before the age of 2! That might sound rough on the pocket book, but it's even rougher on the environment. Did you know that disposable diapers take 500 years to decompose in a landfill? Because of this, we've opted to use cloth diapers on our twins. Cloth diapers have come a long way from what you may remember them to be. Not only do they come in adorable prints, but they're also chemical free (better for babies bum) and extremely easy to use - just as easy as disposable! We've included some cloth diapers on our registry that we've sampled and liked. But we are grateful for any brand cloth diapers you would like to contribute to our collection :) If you're curious to learn more about the environmental impact of disposable diapers, check out this helpful article: https://www.livestrong.com/article/149890-environmental-impact-of-disposable-diapers/

FROZEN MEALS

Every twin book we've read has suggested stocking up on frozen meals during the pregnancy. The first few months with multiples is very similar to what I imagine D-Day or Saigon must've been like. If anyone would like to make us a home-cooked meal we can freeze, we will gladly accept. Being that this is also a high risk pregnancy, there's a good chance that one or both of our babies could spend some time in the NICU. Knowing we will have a freezer full of home-cooked meals will make bringing our babies home that much more special :)
