Baby Dandy

Arrival Date April 23, 2020

Hey there lovely family and friendos!

Thank you so much for taking the time to swing by this registry. Joe and I are so incredibly grateful (as will baby Bean be as well!) to be surrounded by such a tremendous support group, even so far away. We love you all, and cant wait to share the the sheer terror of becoming new parents with you, haha!

For those of you who dont know yet- We found out we are expecting a girl. Hopefully this will help us balance out our ,ale dominated household- the fourlegged boys outnumber me 3-1.

A couple of things-

1- Joe and I are new to this; to be honest, you guys probably know better than we do what we need. However, we have already made the big purchases (stroller, carseat, baby carrier, nursery furniture) and have been given a significant amount of handmedowns from friends out here. We have a seriously large amount of clothing already, right up until pretty well 18months.

2-WE LOVE HANDMEDOWNS and suggestions. Honestly, if you have something you love, or something that has been well-loved, please let us know.

3-We are planning on breastfeeding and using both disposable/reusable diapers.

4-This baby will be coming EVERYWHERE. I mean it. Shes coming in the spring which means by summer she'll be at the barn, camping, in the garden, and on the trail. If you have something you couldnt live without in these situations, please give us your recommendations.

5- Finally, Im a book nerd. Instead of cards, I'd love if everyone could buy a book or two. We ask that you put a sticky-note in the front (that way if we get duplicates we can return one) with your message for us and her. No better way to spend a Northern Alberta Winter than reading to a tiny screaming potato (i presume!)

Thank you so so much everyone for your kind words, you unwavering support, and for your calls, texts, emails and visits- they are always more than appreciated.

Love,

Cassie, Joe and Bean
