Baby Karl’s Registry

Arrival Date March 10, 2021

Hey there! We would first like to thank everybody for their incredible support and shared excitement during this next adventure for our family. Although the military life can be crazy and severely limit time available to spend with family and friends, it means the world to us that we know we always have such an incredible support system we can call on.

Anything not yet purchased by January 25th we will be buying ourselves, as this registry has also acted as our own shopping list to make sure nothing was forgotten last minute (hence the different brands of pacifiers/swaddles to test and the postpartum care products lol). If there’s anything not on the registry that you’d like to contribute, please feel free to message either of us to get our address!

Being apart of the baby journey in no way means that participation comes solely in the form of contributing into our registry, but the option is available to those who wish to, and anything put forth is greatly appreciated. Please keep in mind that this registry site we chose lists several different buying options for the products, which compares the prices at each retailer- I am someone who loves getting the best deal, and we’d like to make sure our family and friends do as well, so please note that factor if you decide to purchase anything so you get the best price for the product!

The clothes on the registry are there to act mainly as examples as far as what we are looking for. Footed pants and pj’s up until she is 6 months would be great because then we don’t have to deal with a bunch of missing baby socks! In the earlier months, pj’s with built in mittens would also be appreciated to prevent face scratching, and we’d like to have more clothes in the 6m+ range, as we already have a bunch of newborn and 0-3 month (but of course anything in any size is always appreciated). As baby is being born in the spring time, we are keeping most of her clothes in the initial few months to long sleeve onesies/footed pants/footie pjs/sleep and plays to ensure she stays warm! A few months later comes summer, which for us means it’ll be extremely warm- we would like to keep her 3-6 month, and even 6-9 month (since fall doesn’t really settle here to cool things down until October) clothes on the lighter side so if there’s a chill we can still layer her as needed, but for the most part, short sleeve onesies/shirts and bloomers/pjs with or without footies would be great! After that we will settle into the fall, so if anything 9+ months is purchased we’d prefer it to be on the warmer/easy layering side! We also ask that if you choose to contribute pjs/sleep and plays, to PLEASE try and opt for the zip-up ones instead of the snaps as I would rather not add on the hassle of constantly dealing with snaps while half asleep in the middle of the night for a diaper change!

Again, whether this registry was something you participated in or not, thank you to everyone for being so amazing, it’s so much easier navigating (or at least attempting to) being new parents, knowing we have such a great support system to fall back on (grandparents you’ve been warned).

Love you all, we can’t wait to continue making and sharing memories of our growing family with everyone!
