Elle's Baby Registry

Arrival Date May 27, 2020

Hello, everyone! Thank you for your love and support as we prepare to meet baby B. We are so very lucky to have all of you in our lives!

A few things about our home and our registry. We are committed to limiting waste and plastic use in our home. On our registry you will see this reflected in items made of glass, silicone or bamboo. If you choose to buy us a lovely gift that’s not on our registry please try to avoid plastic.

A note on diapers and wipes: We are also choosing to avoid disposable diapers and wipes. One disposable diaper thrown away in a trash bag takes 500 years to decompose and the fecal matter in diapers is bleeding off from landfills and contributing to ecoli and salmonella outbreaks in our produce(ewww).

We have chosen tidy tots as our cloth diaper brand. For the newborn stage we cannot return or exchange the diapers so please only purchase the one gift set I have added or a gift card to tidy tots if you’d like. For the larger sizes of diapers you may purchase individual diapers or three packs if you’d like as we can exchange or return those sizes as needed.

A note on baby clothes: for ourselves, for Julianna, for the baby and the environment we are committed to ethically sourced and eco friendly clothing manufacturers. As such we buy many of our clothes used. Feel free to shop your favorite thrift store! If you do choose to purchase new, please look for clothing made with plant based dye, organic cotton, bamboo or hemp fabrics. We also love products that are OEKO-TEX certified (this is a certified clean manufacturing process that is good for the environment). Many major stores like Target, Buy Buy Baby, and Amazon carry OEKO-TEX certified products, search for them in your browsers search bar.

Thank you so much for loving us and for supporting us as we welcome baby B into our home and do our best to preserve this beautiful planet for baby B’s future!
