Juliana and Nicholas Martin's Baby Registry

Arrival Date November 17, 2021

We are so excited to meet our little Thérèse Joan! We truly feel that God has immensely blessed us by allowing us to be the cocreators of this tiny human. Please keep us in your prayers as we learn to navigate these new waters, partake in the great miracle of life, and embrace the cross of suffering that naturally accompanies pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum life. Thanks be to God!

A few things about some decisions we are making:

1. I intentionally did not add very many clothing items to this registry. Nicholas and I are BIG thrift shoppers. Did you expect Baby Martin to be different?! If you are planning on buying our little one clothes, please know that we love second-hand/hand-me-downs/thrift store purchases! There's no shame in not buying something new - baby clothes are really expensive and we both love to rock our thrift store clothes. We'll feel deeply known and loved if you show up with something gently used. So please feel free to stop by a Once Upon a Child, Salvation Army, or Goodwill 😄

2. We have decided to invest in cloth diapers! It's a big initial purchase, but can save families money over time, and can also be beneficial for the baby and the environment. I know purchasing these in packs can be pricy, so I added a diaper fund if you want to help us save up for her little nappies!

3. We love the idea of having few plastic toys and doing things Montesorri style, hence the Toy section. If you want to purchase little Martin a toy, please consider buying books, wooden toys, or something sensory that will strengthen her development.

4. While I'm planning on breastfeeding whenever I can, I will still be working full-time. This just means I need a few things to accompany my insurance covered breast pump, like milk bags and bottles!

Thanks again for your thoughtfulness and support. We will praying for you and offering up labor for your intentions. May the Almighty God bless and keep you!
