Hello from the DiGiacomo's!!

We cannot believe how soon our precious rainbow will be here!! =)

First, we want to thank you so much not only for sharing our joy and excitement on welcoming a baby into our family, but also for offering to gift us something special that will mean so very much to us ❤️

Due to us living in another state (from most), as well as the continued risks and restrictions from Covid, we've unfortunately decided it's best not to have a traditional baby shower. Because of that, we're asking that all gifts be shipped to our address. But rest assured our excitement and our gratitude for all we receive will be JUST as big!! ❤️

We decided to use Babylist for our registry since you can link from all different stores and have it all in one place! The only difference is that it does not automatically indicate when a gift has been purchased. Because of that, it's important to understand the difference between RESERVING and PURCHASING a gift, and also to know how to unreserve if you change your mind (so the item(s) return back to the registry) AND how to indicate when you did purchase something!

Also, for certain items on the list, notice there are "Jaci&Erik Requests" where we tell you what size, color, etc. we want for that particular item, that way you know what to select when you go to purchase!

To make it easier so you don't have to search for instructions, here’s a quick summary to explain how to use this registry! If you have questions or want more detailed instructions, I share a link at the bottom you can go to for more:

Once you've selected a gift you want to give, click on “Give this Gift" and enter your name and email address - you will receive an email with further instructions. Now your gift is RESERVED!

Once you reserve a gift, you'll receive an email that brings you to your reservation page. This is also where you will be provided our mailing address! =)

Your registration page is where you purchase the item! If it’s sold at Babylist, you can simply checkout. If it’s sold at another retailer, you’ll be directed to their website to check out.

Things you should know:

- We cannot auto-populate the registrant's address for you, so you'll need to manually enter the address during checkout. The registrant's address will be shown in the email you got with your reservation page.

- If a retailer offers the option of including a gift receipt, we recommend clicking that option.


If you have multiple gifts from the same retailer, go to this link and select "I'm giving a gift" to find further instructions:

Once you have purchased your gift, return back to your Gift Reservation page to update this information. Click on “I’ve Purchased This” under the item. When you mark your gift as purchased, you’ll have the opportunity to include the retailer name and the order number. Including this information is helpful for any necessary returns or exchanges for the registrant.


Did you select to purchase an item then change your mind? No worries! Just make sure you UNRESERVE that item!

**Why is this important?** Because once an item is “reserved” it is removed from the registry list so duplicates aren’t purchased! And gift reservations do not expire. So if you change your mind and you DO NOT unreserve the item, others won’t be able to see that the registrants still need that item.

To cancel a reservation, please go to your Gift Reservation page and find the item you no longer want to purchase. Click on "Cancel Reservation" to return the item back to the registry.
