BabyBjorn carriers are known for being a breeze to get on and off and providing curious little ones with a front-facing perch, and the Carrier One style is no exception. But unlike the other carriers in the line, this versatile design has multiple zippers to configure where and how your baby sits. Connect the inside zipper higher up and it’s ready for newborns, who like to sit higher on your torso. Drop the connector down to the lower zipper for older babies. You can also choose how to position your child’s legs: wider to wrap around your body (the most ergonomic position for wee ones) or dangling straight down. But what this carrier has most mastered is hoisting your child to the back-carry position. It’s just a matter of swiveling him from the front to the back in one fluid, but safe, motion.

Keep in mind that it will be impossible to nurse while wearing this over-the-head carrier. Also, while the carrier’s longer length could work well for taller parents, for others the baby sits out of smooch range, which places a lot of pressure on your shoulders.

It was hard to use with a newborn because she was too small and it captures heat is the summer but now it’s great.

Multiple ways to carry - face front or back. Used as an infant and still use today at 8 months +.

It was hard to work and get into, in my opinion. I ended up going with the Ergo and LOVE the ease of it as well as the support.

We returned the Bjorn for the Baby Ergo because it had an infant insert. The Bjorn doesn't have that option.

It's been great for my older baby. It felt too big for our newborn, but we used an insert from a Becco carrier and it worked like a charm in the Bjorn.

Easy to use. My baby is long and she fits very well in it. The weight distribution doesn't hurt my back over very long walks. It can be worn front facing and back facing. Also it can be used on the back, but we haven't done that yet. The only complaint we have is that the front flap sometimes flips up when we are trying to get our babe in front facing. No big deal really, though. Overall, worth every penny.

It's kind of hot for parent and baby especially in the summer. It also feels a bit 'intense' for wanting to just carry your baby around the house day to day. Also, my daughter was a preemie so I always felt that it was hard for her to fit well. However, it's a sturdy, durable carrier that is easy to use and definitely feels safe when your baby is in it. It's good for those with back problems.

So comfortable with big wide padded straps, very well made! The straps are easily adjustable both for you and baby's height. Something you can use again if you expand your family or pass it on to a friend. It won't wear out. You won't regret it!

The straps are thick enough to hold a lot of weight without putting a lot of pressure on your back. It's a little bulky for a petite person. It's also very compatible due to the different positions you can carry your baby. Wearing it in the backpack position is good for carrying toddlers.
