What weabout it
A light, compact, practical stroller that's a great fit for city dwellers and frequent flyers.

Lightweight, super compact, and incredibly easy to fold, the BABYZEN YOYO stroller may well be the perfect fit for city dwellers or those who travel often. Well designed and solidly constructed, the YOYO is a good alternative to typical umbrella strollers.

The basic stroller in the BABYZEN system is the YOYO 6+. With an upright seat and a five point harness, it works for babies 6 months and up. To use the BABYZEN with your infant, you’ll need to an additional YOYO+ 0+ Newborn Pack (sold separately) or an infant car seat adapter (adapter and infant car seats sold separately; see compatible infant car seats below).

For older babies and toddlers, the 6+ padded backrest can be reclined to 145 degrees. (Note that the backrest is slightly reclined even when in its upright position, so your baby may slip down a little bit if the harness is too loose.) The UPF 50+ canopy expands to accommodate the reclined seat, and a small window in the back of the canopy lets you unobtrusively check on your baby. While the ride will never be as smooth as a jogger-type stroller, a “soft drive” suspension system helps you navigate over rough terrain. The handlebar is not height-adjustable, but its one-piece construction means you can easily steer the stroller with one hand.

One-handed operation continues with the YOYO+ folding/unfolding mechanism, which truly sets it apart from other strollers. Once you’ve done a couple of test runs, it’s quite easy to use. The YOYO+ is extremely compact when folded—it will fit in most overhead bins, under your table at a restaurant, in the carry on compartment on a train, and in almost any car. This stroller is also very easy to navigate in compact spaces (think urban shopping trips and bus rides), but be aware that the basket can’t hold a tremendous amount and you need to take your things out of the basket to fold. The low seat base means your toddler will be able to climb in and out by themselves, increasing their feeling of independence.

Infant Car Seat Compatibility

Using an infant car seat adapter, the Babyzen YOYO+ is compatible with infant car seats from Cybex, Maxi-Cosi, and Nuna.

I don't think I could love this stroller more. It's like pushing a cloud made of butter: light and smooth as can be! The open/close fold is literally genius. I never thought in my life I'd be geeking out over how a stroller folds, but here we are. We wanted a lighter-weight option for our caregivers and when we're out and about, and everyone loves it. Can't wait to travel with it! You'll want to practice the open/close actions a few times before heading out. It's super easy once you know how to do it, but you don't want to be figuring it out for the first time when you're in a rush.

Extremely portable and easy to maneuver. It is pricey though, and since I got this I heard about a newer version which is less expensive, called Colugo.

Small, light, accepted as a carry-on in a plane and very maneuverable. Sometimes the wheels aren't parallel and it will block the opening. Once you know that, there isn’t a stroller easier to use!!

Lightweight and easy to fold up. It's not great for cobblestone roads or really rough terrain, but it's great for city sidewalks and for walks through parks. Also great for traveling since it's so compact!

It’s small and lightweight- perfect for tiny NYC shops and restaurants It has tiny wheels which are not the best for uneven sidewalks when you are using it with an infant car seat since it makes it top heavy.

I started using this as an everyday stroller with my one yr old. It's light, easy to fold and you can push it using one hand! As an expectant mom the best thing is that it's only 13 lbs. The cons, however, are mostly related to it being so compact & light. It has a small basket, no cup holders, the recline is limited and the add-on board piece is $120! Sometimes I also have issues opening it bc the bottom part gets a not stuck & the canopy loosens somewhat easily (usually when I'm folding & unfolding), but overall I LOVE it!
