Description

The Boba Wrap is one, long piece of thick but soft, French terry material you wrap around yourself and your baby. Having 5% spandex keeps the wrap from stretching out and provides a snug fit for newborns who often calm down in a womb-like space. Since you tie it on new every time, the Boba grows with your baby and is custom fit to whoever is doing the hands-free cuddling.

Like any wrap, mastering the steps to putting on the Boba can be tricky, but in time it becomes second nature. Keep in mind too that all that fabric can kick up the heat factor - something that’s great in cold weather but not so fabulous come warmer temps.

If you’re still deciding which kind of carrier is right for you, check out our guide to baby carriers.

So soft, so snuggly - and it grows with baby! Practice tying it before baby comes - and it does take a couple times to get the hang of it. But after that, it becomes second nature. I love how close it keeps her to me, how soft, snuggly, and flexible it it. My husband won't wear it, but it's definitely my go-to!

I found it time consuming to figure out how to wrap this on myself, and it was cumbersome with the large amount of fabric there was. I was not comfortable trying to get my baby in and out basically one handed. I personally didn't like the product, but, of course, others love it. I found it to be complicated which is not what I wanted as a new mom. Simple and easy is what I want.

Soooooo much fabric. I know there's supposed to be, but when you're wrestling with a squirmy baby, it's difficult to get everything just right and then getting the baby situated. Also, the material is hot, and my little one hates being hot. We used it maybe three times in the last 8 months.

It takes practice to use this and correctly secure the baby. Harder to use with bigger baby.

Only carrier that works with a newborn, soft and cozy and great for skin to skin time with little ones. Still works for my 8 month old. Comfortable for Mom AND baby.

It was too much of a hassle to even use, especially when I could just grab my Baby K’tan or my Beco and Lille once they got older. A lot of fabric! Wrapping not practical when trying to quickly wear one kid while trying to wrangle the others.

It was too complicated to put on and didn't feel supportive enough. I ended up using the Ergobaby with an infant insert instead. If I have another one I will try a soft carrier that I don't have to tie!

It’s simple, versatile, easy to clean, and super comfortable. I feel like my newborn was way more comfortable in that than in anything else. Anytime she was upset, I’d wrap her up and she was fine and asleep within minutes.
