Description

The Boba Wrap is one, long piece of thick but soft French terry material you wrap around yourself and your baby. Having 5% spandex keeps the wrap from stretching out and provides a snug fit for newborns who often calm down in a womb-like space. Since you tie it on new every time, the Boba grows with your baby and is custom fit to whoever is doing the hands-free cuddling.

Like any wrap, mastering the steps to putting on the Boba can be tricky, but in time it becomes second nature. Keep in mind that all that fabric can kick up the heat factor—something that’s great in cold weather but not so fabulous come warmer temps.

If you’re still deciding which kind of carrier is right for you, check out our guide to baby carriers.

Difficult to use even when you get the hang of wrapping it. Some suggested for preemie but I was concerned about airflow. It was hot and difficult to put baby in. It is soft material. Watch the videos on YouTube, otherwise it will be very frustrating to figure out.

I really liked this when baby was newborn, but stopped using it once she was about three months old. It is very, very long and can therefore be tough to adjust and is also extremely hot because of all the fabric. Baby and I both ended up hot and sweaty whenever we used this (always in winter—I didn’t even need a coat!). I loved having her so close and snuggled up to me but it’s not practical for long-term use. Watch the video online showing how to put it on and you’ll have it on and adjusted in a snap!

Hard to use.

I feel that it takes time learning to use it. I think the actual baby carrier was more reliable and safe.

Easy to use, comfortable, soft, felt like the fabric gets a little loose and would have to readjust. Convenient to have on the go.

Perfect for skin to skin contact and doing chores around the house. It's also a great way to keep baby warm when going out to pumpkin farms during the fall

It’s a little hot to wear sometimes, would have preferred a thinner fabric. Somewhat cumbersome to put on.
