What weabout it
These shades are easy to install, a great value, and give your baby a little shade in the car’s back seat.

Description

This pack of two shades fastens by both clip and suction cup, so you don’t have to worry as much about them falling off and re-attaching them. They’ve got the temperature gauge that glows to warn you when it’s too hot in the car, and they easily retract at the push of a button. They’re very easy to install, and it’s nice to have two of them to ensure full coverage or two use on two different cars on the window that your baby sits near. The price is an awfully good value for two shades.

Some people complain that the hook gets a little bit in the way when closing the window, and creates a tiny gap for air to whistle through. If you’re bothered by this, and want to rely on the suction cups alone, one tip is to wet them a little bit before applying them: they’ll stick better.

Specs

  • Choice of adjustable clips or suction cups
  • One push retract button

The shades work well and they have an option to hang them over the window, which is nice because they stay on securely. I feel like the "hot" sensor is quick to turn white (which is fine, I'd rather be safe than sorry), but slow for the white to go away. Even when we have the A/C on and my husband and I feel cold, it still says that it's too hot in the car.

Found them unnecessary for my vehicle and more of a hassle to use installed. During the summer it was fine, but every time I lowered the window it would pop off. In the winter the suction cups were unable to stick and they have ended up on the floor of my backseat.

They don't block the sun, and they fall off the windows.

This will be the problem with most shades, but it always seems to miss where the sun is actually coming in the window.
