Description

Founded by parents, clek makes seats engineered for safety, incorporating European and automotive industry safety features like anti-rebound bars and aluminum crumple zones. With their clean and contemporary design, clek seats feel like more like a natural extension of your car than the typical car seat.

You can keep your little one rear-facing up to 50 pounds in the fllo convertible car seat (they won’t be so little), a feature that will attract many safety-oriented parents. With a 9-year lifespan, you’ll be able to use it through your child’s car seat years, or hand it down to a younger sibling or two.

Like clek’s other seats, the fllo is engineered with a steel sub-structure and two layers of energy-absorbing foam for maximum side-impact protection. The anti-rebound bar helps stabilize the seat and limits upward motion and rotation in case of a collision. A honeycombed aluminum crumple zone in the seat base absorbs energy in a crash, using the same technology your car is built with. Likewise, the energy-absorbing, foam-lined structural headrest is connected to the frame with steel rods, providing maximum head protection in a side-impact collision.

Clek car seats come in C-Zero+ fabrics that are moisture wicking and stain resistant—a big plus for a seat you’ll have for a long time. The fabrics are also Greenguard Gold certified and free of brominated and chlorinated flame-retardants.

You can easily install the fflo either rear- or forward-facing using your car’s seat belt or with flexible LATCH. It has a clearly marked belt path and tensioning lock-offs to remove slack. The fllo is designed to be lighter and a little smaller, which makes it a better fit for more compact vehicles. Its crash test results in the forward facing position are a little lower than the heftier foonf, but this is still a very safe seat.
