Description

This innovative, Swedish-designed “dock” offers a safe, comfy spot for your baby to sleep, lounge, play, have tummy time, or get a diaper change. The soft, snug, nestlike pod is reassuring for babies and its versatility makes it a boon for parents.

DockATot makes the bonding experience of cosleeping safer, facilitating proper back positioning while preventing your baby from rolling out of bed, getting caught between the bed and the wall, or wriggling down under the covers. The sides prevent you from rolling on top of your baby in your sleep, but they are low and soft enough so that you can feel close and comfortably reach over to touch your baby. The firm mattress is designed specifically for babies to reduce the risk of suffocation.

For waking hours, the DockATot is excellent for tummy time: prop your baby against the rounded bumper to play while developing neck strength and motor skills. The lightweight design travels well, and you can change out the cover if you like.

Rest assured: the materials used in DockATot are breathable, washable, hypoallergenic, and certified to Okeo-Tex standards. The material is also non-heat harboring to ensure a comfortable “micro climate” for your baby.

The Deluxe is ideal for babies ages 0 - 8 mos.

Baby slept so great in it!

These are really expensive and certainly not a necessity. It's a pretty simple device to cost as much as it does and baby will outgrow it quickly.

I wouldn't say that this was a game-changer with sleep, but it was SUPER convenient to be able to have baby anywhere in the house for naps without having to worry about him rolling off the couch, etc. Once he was around 6 months old it actually HINDERED good sleep because he wanted to move around so much, so be sure to pay attention to your baby's needs once they're older and see if removing it would actually help more.

I don’t see what is so great. My baby had reflux and needed something that kept his head up a little.

It's portable! We used it to "dock" our daughter in various rooms in the house (including the bathroom so mom could shower), we brought it to friend's homes so she could nap comfortably, we used it on an airplane, took it to the beach, and we occasionally co-slept with her when she was sick. The dock-a-tot was also a huge life-savor when our daughter hit her 4 month sleep regression, which was brought on by the new skill of flipping over. She would flip back-to-stomach in the middle of the night and startle herself awake. The dock-a-tot prevented her from flipping for a while and allowed her to sleep comfortably (as did mom and dad!). It's pretty expensive, but in our experience it was well worth the money!

The dock-a-tot is incredibly versatile. I used it when my baby was a newborn as a co-sleeper. We would take it as a travel sleeper when she was little as well. She took it everyone when she was little just to have her lay in it. Sooo worth the purchase.

It allowed our little girl to nap anywhere in the house and allows us to travel without having to bring a pack n play. I recommend buying an extra cover.

I wondered if this would even be a worthy purchase because it's expensive. For me, it was because it's like a portable bed. My baby had trouble sleeping because she would startle herself awake multiple times in the night. This made her snug and sleep very soundly.
