Description

The first stroller from trusted baby carrier maker Ergobaby, the 180 Reversible comes loaded with premium features at a great price point. As its name implies, the stroller is reversible, meaning that you can push it with your baby facing forward or facing toward you. Younger babies can ride facing you, benefitting from the comfort and connection of seeing you right there. As your baby grows and is more interested in exploring the world, they can ride facing forward.

Where other reversible strollers (like the UPPAbaby Cruz and Vista and the NUNA Mixx) require you to detach the seat and turn it around, with the 180, you simply flip the handlebar with one easy motion and a click. It’s quick and quiet, and won’t wake a sleeping baby. Since the stroller can be pushed in either direction, all four wheels have independent steering locks and brakes.

This stroller reclines to almost flat. Your newborn can ride in it with the comfort cushion (sold separately) or inside their infant car seat—you will need the adapter for your specific car seat, also sold separately. You can continue to use the stroller well into toddlerhood. The seat has a 50-pound weight limit; while every kid is different, that should get most to 4 or 5 years old.

Another very appealing feature is the 180’s super easy, one-handed fold—you just pull up on the cloth handle in the middle of the seat and the stroller collapses. Once folded, the stroller will stand up on its own, so it won’t topple over while you’re loading up the car. Speaking of loading the car, the 180 is fairly compact when folded, so it’ll fit in your trunk and isn’t a space hog inside your house, either.

The extended sun canopy on this stroller is huge, providing plenty of coverage and privacy for your little one with a peekaboo window and quiet magnets. The back of the seat is constructed with mesh side walls for air flow in warmer weather that you can cover with canvas fabric when it’s cooler.

The 180 also has an extra-large storage basket rated at 20 pounds as well as a hidden storage compartment behind the seat. We hope you’re not caring around that much gear every day, but if you are, this will be a boon. The stroller also comes with a handlebar drink holder and a pouch for your keys and phone, little extras that add up to a lot of convenience.

The drawbacks? Though you could attach a stroller board to it, the 180 can’t be converted to a double stroller, and the footrest is not adjustable. Like any brand-new product, it has yet to be road tested by lots of families for durability and longevity, but Ergobaby’s excellent track record helps offset that concern.
