What weabout it
t provides firm, ergonomic support for a nursing mama and baby.

The Natural Curve is a firm, tall pillow made of extremely supportive foam. Its firmness can be either a plus or a minus depending on your body shape and personal preference. People with long torsos tend to love the Ergobaby pillow because it actually raises baby up high enough for convenient nursing. However, some people do get irritated that the Ergobaby is not very squishable. A squishable pillow is more flexible in terms of arranging your baby or fitting into a narrow chair.

If you don’t mind the lack of squishiness, you’ll really enjoy the thoughtful design of this pillow. The “natural curve” is to encourage your baby to lie tummy-to-tummy with you. The pillow cover is removable and machine washable, and there’s an interior lining that offers extra protection against spills. The color scheme is more subdued and natural than the exuberant Boppy designs. Especially if you have a long torso, this pillow is a great ergonomic option for you and baby.

Baby didn't fit comfortably in the pillow. Couldn't get a good latch.

I went to a breastfeeding class and this was the consultant's favorite pillow. It puts the baby in a very natural position where they are tummy to tummy with you and it makes it easier for them to eat. This pillow, unlike others curves the baby into you, so you don't have to use your arms, like other pillows on the market. Also, many people have said that it isn't soft, and they are right. It is a firm pillow, but very supportive, and for the beginning of life it's actually much safer to have a firm surface to protect baby from SIDS. As adults we love softness and cushion, but babies don't need it!

The nursing pillow is too hard, heavy and does not strap in the back. Fine for baby to lay on but not useful as a nursing pillow.

It is a VERY stiff pillow. I knew it would provide more support than the Boppy when he was very little. However, I was unable to position my baby in a comfortable position, EVER. It also does not mold or fit well if you feed in a rocker/glider because of the arms on the chair. Overall very disappointed and ended up purchasing a Boppy. Have been using that instead. Think about where you will be feeding your child. If you plan on feeding in bed this may be more useful for extra support. However, if you feed in a chair with arms, this pillow will not be very comfortable to use for you or baby.

This might be great for bigger babies, but was too curved downwards towards my body for my 6lb 14oz baby... I had to turn the pillow more to my side rather than fitting directly around the middle. Try a friends pillow the first few days and then decide what works best! This is an item that was a pain more often than not.

I was never able to figure out how to use it, and it didn't come with any instructions. I never got my baby to nurse using it, and ended up borrowing a different brand from a friend. It doesn't work well when you are trying to figure out how to breastfeed a newborn.

The nursing pillow is a hard foam-like material and it was not comfortable for me nor the baby. I wound up getting the traditional Boppy instead. I highly recommend getting another pillow, the Boppy worked better for me.

Does not fit on your lap when you're sitting in a chair-- only if you're sitting on a sofa. This pillow is too firm. Go with a Boppy instead.

The pillow is a little too firm and just wasn't that comfortable to use.
