What weabout it
A fleece lining adds warmth to this water-resistant cover that shields from wind, rain and snow.

About this Product
  • Compatible with all Ergobaby carriers
  • Snaps onto shoulder straps
  • Water resistant shell
  • Warm fleece lining

For those who don’t want weather to keep them cooped up, having a warm, protective cover is a must. The durable, water-resistant outer shell protects your little one from the elements while the fleece lining provides an extra layer of warmth in chilly conditions. The elasticized hood (think: fits snugly) has fleece inside, too. Drawstrings on either side adjust the cover of the body for a streamlined silhouette. Even with two layers, this cover is thin enough to fold and pack.

The winter weather cover attaches to any Ergobaby carrier at the shoulder straps, but watching a video on how to properly secure it so no drafts get in, and doing a test run at home is a good idea. Also, the cover isn’t a substitute for bundling up your baby on supercold days.

Ergobaby also offers a version of this cover without the fleece lining that is great for rainy climates where you need some water protection but not extra warmth.

  • Outer Shell: 100% Polyester Water Resistant Ripstop Fabric

Essential in winter.

So great to have in the winter! We took our baby out for walks every day. We have an older style of Ergo, so it didn't fit great, but it served it's purpose. We also were able to attach it to the Moby when Baby was really little.

It's not the warmest for Minnesota weather but other brands of covers are not compatible with the Ergo carriers. Since it's all that works with the Ergo I would recommend it but it's not ideal.

This cover is amazing! I have had so many people stop me and ask me where I got it. We live in Minnesota where the winter can be bitterly cold. This cover was indispensable for keeping rain, snow, and wind chill off my baby. I even used it when we went snowshoeing! On really cold days I also dress my baby in a fleece snowsuit but this works great as an added layer of warmth and protection. At first it was a little confusing trying to figure out how to get the cover to snap onto the Ergo but after a few times of using it, I got the hang of it.
