What weabout it
This bamboo wrap creates a snuggly cocoon for newborns and adjusts to fit multiple caregivers.

About this Product
  • 2 possible positions: front facing in, hip carry
  • No infant insert necessary
  • Fits parents of all sizes
  • Can be used with smaller newborns

The Moby Wrap is one, super-long (18’ to be exact) piece of stretchy jersey that wraps around you and your baby and encourages the skin-to-skin contact preemies and newborns crave. Little ones cuddle into the comfy pocket created by wrapping the fabric over the wearer’s shoulders and waist. There’s plenty of material to keep the wrap as secure for bigger babies as it is for newborns. But the key advantage of the Moby Wrap is that it adapts to differing body frames so any caregiver can comfortably use it. Also unlike ring slings, which go across one shoulder, the Moby Wrap your back and shoulders, to carry the weight of your baby.

Plan on getting lots of practice (and watching videos) to nail down the technique of putting this on, but eventually it comes naturally. Also, because the fabric is so long, the ends drag on the ground in the process of tying it on.

This version of the Moby is made from lightweight fabric that blends cotton and viscose fibers from bamboo and cotton for ideal breathability in all seasons. Because of the softer fabric, this wrap is a little more expensive than the original.

I know there might be a learning curve, but it was too steep to undertake while trying to care for a new baby. Get the K’tan instead!!! It is so much easier to use!!!

This wrap is super soft and my baby loved it. I used it very regularly until she was about 4 months old. It takes a bit of practice to tie, but totally worth it.

It can be difficult to put on. It gets easier with practice, though. I also had trouble getting it tight enough and still comfortable until my baby got bigger.

The material is strong and sturdy but soft. It holds my baby well, even at 8 months, and is versatile enough to allow either myself or my husband to wear it.

I like using this a lot more than the Baby Bjorn. It's much better on my back and I feel that my baby is more secure to me.
