What weabout it
Way better than a nasal bulb, this so-called Snotsucker does exactly what its name suggests, efficiently and hygienically

Babies can’t blow their own noses. That’s why nasal bulbs were invented. Nasal bulbs are not very efficient or clean: that’s why the Nosefrida was invented by a Swedish ear, nose, and throat pediatrician.

Here’s how it works: use the nasal spray to loosen baby boogers, then insert the cartridge into the nasal cavity. Suck on the mouthpiece to draw the snot out of the nose and into the cartridge, which is sealed with an air-tight filter. (No, you won’t risk getting snot in your mouth.)

The unit can be washed with soap and water and the filters replaced. This product comes with 20 additional filters so you’ll be covered through many drippy noses.

  • 4 filters included
  • Age range: 0-3 years

I have used it twice so far. It can be a bit time consuming to wash it and put the washed parts back together.

Great for little stuffy noses. Get extra filters and use with saline spray.

Ah-mazing! This thing—I mean seriously, buy it! You'll need it, and personally there's nothing else on the market that works as well as this in my honesty opinion. This was great for right after she was born when she was stuffy. We used it sparingly when she was that little but recently she had a cold (7 months) and this thing helped sooo much. Seriously, I didn't know so much snot could come out of such a little person. Also, I love how easy this is to clean. No worries of snot buildup that you can't see.

When she was a baby, there was no struggle using this. As they get older it gets trickier. What helped us was to make it a fun experience, it's still a struggle because she's so wiggly and wants to grab it and eat it (yuck, lol) but she rarely cries when we use it. One trick, place baby on hip and stand in front of the mirror with aspirator at the ready. Do a little dance to get your baby smiling at themselves in mirror and use it while they're distracted by their reflection. This worked for a little while.

The concept is gross, totally get that, but my son had bronchiolitis at 3 months old and this was the only thing that would clear out his nose when we got home from the hospital.

It works wonders for a stuffy baby. My baby isn't fond of it, but it is necessary for helping him breathe. I was nervous about using it the first time, but found the concept pretty simple. It is very easy to clean, which is great compared to the bulb aspirator.
