Kristen's Baby Registry

Arrival Date May 22, 2021

Hooray for Baby K!

We cannot wait to welcome this little one into our lives. While we wish we could be physically surrounded by all of you during this exciting time, we've been so grateful for everyone's love and support from afar.

We won't be having any in-person festivities before the baby arrives, but hope to bring everyone together to celebrate this kiddo once it's safe to do so. (Side note: Get vaccinated when you can, y'all!) If the world cooperates, we hope you'll get some baby snuggles sometime this fall (knock on wood/fingers crossed).

Thanks for considering a contribution to our treasure trove of goodies for the babe.

Questions we are frequently asked:

When are you due?

June 15. But Kristen's doctor is preparing us for something more like mid-May.

Is it a boy or a girl? Have you picked names?

You'll find out when the baby arrives!

What do you REALLY need?

We were thoughtful with our "Must Have" flags. Please trust them. There are a couple of big-ticket items on the list that we would be delighted if folks banded together to purchase.

Do you have a nursery theme?

No one will be surprised to hear: Woodland Critters. Hardwood floors, gray walls (with a green accent wall), white furniture. Given the neutral pallet, pops of color are most welcome!

Are you really cloth diapering?

YES. We have a ton of friends who have done it successfully and we're excited to save money/reduce waste. However: the all-in-one cloth diapers we're excited to use run about $20 a pop (but are one-size-fits-all, 8-35 pounds), so a worthwhile investment. We're hoping for a stash of 25-30 diapers, and are A-OK with used (in good condition) bumGenius Freetimes. One or two diapers would be an incredibly welcome and generous gift! And you know we'll think of you often... 😉

You'll note that we did add a pack of disposables to the list, too. We figure for the first couple of weeks we'd manage the learning curve.

Are you OK with used items and hand-me-downs?

Yep! Especially for baby clothes, books, and toys. They go through 'em so fast, it seems a shame to buy new. We trust you won't give us anything gross. Thrift and purge away!

Collapse.
