Courtney & Sam's Baby Registry

Hello, friends and family!

First, Sam and I would like to thank you for being here. Tangible gifts such as the ones we've listed below are one way our community of loved ones can help us during this new and exciting chapter, and we want you to know how grateful we are for your generosity!

Raising our first child is an opportunity we have talked about and looked forward to since the beginning of our relationship. It is feels both like a gift and a great responsibility that we wish to navigate thoughtfully and with tenderness.

As far as Elio's objects and spaces go, we would like to keep things minimalistic, and well-made whenever we can. We strive to have an uncluttered space (as best we can), and being considerate of the environment / toxicity. This means, for example, that we would prefer to opt for wooden and knit toys instead of plastic, and to have a less-is-more approach.

We have put an excited and dedicated effort into creating this registry, and we'd be so grateful to receive gifts directly from here. These items a perfect fit for us, and they are exactly what we are in need of or would like to have for our household! If you would like to pick something out that's not on the registry, we'd love it if you can find something from one of the shops listed at the end of this message.

If there's something personal you'd like to gift us (something you've made or written, or your favorite book from when you were a kid), we would be touched to have something sentimental from you for Elio.

Lastly, while our baby is male, we do not want his sex to be the guiding light of what people gift to us/him. So, we ask not that you avoid gifting things that you're excited about simply because they are "masculine", but that masculinity not be the main focus of everything he receives.

Your respect for our wishes, and love for our family means the world to us, and we feel deeply lucky for the community of friends and family that will surround Elio!
