It is easy to use, you can’t enter it too far based on the design (which was a fear of mine), it reads their temp quickly and it is reliable! We also got one that records the baby’s temp to an app which I loved the idea of, but it was so faulty and took forever to read that we just use this one all the time! Takes the fear out of using a rectal thermometer!

This thermometer reads very quickly and I love that the pokey bit is super short so I don't have to worry about putting it too far in baby's bum. This was the best medical purchase we made for baby!

Used it once and then went to use it again and the battery was dead. Needless to say, this was very inconvenient. Get back-up batteries at time of purchase if going with this thermometer.

Easy to use.

I love that it takes the most accurate temperature by being inserted into the rectum, but is also short so there is no chance of inserting it too far and hurting your baby. When I used it on my baby she didn’t even seem to notice!

I read that rectal thermometers were recommended for newborns, but the hospital informed us that axillary was the up to date recommendation! We ended up getting rid of the rectal thermometer.

It’s easy to use and it kicks out a temperature quickly. I recommend dipping the tip in vasoline before inserting it.
