Description
This organic wearable swaddle from Small Story features adjustable wings that gently secure baby’s arms.
It offers the benefits of a traditional swaddle but in a simpler, easy-to-use design.
The wings make it easy to wrap the swaddle around baby, helping to prevent the startle reflex that can wake them up.
This design allows you to safely swaddle three different ways to suit baby’s preference.
- Tuck arms in the swaddle for a sense of security (this promotes deep sleep by reducing the startle reflex)
- Swaddle in a hands-up position for natural self-soothing (baby can access hands)
- Swaddle in an arms-out option to support the swaddle-to-sleep sack transition
Design details include a zipper that opens from the bottom for easier diaper changes. The roomy sack at the bottom allows baby’s legs to move freely.
Meant to be worn over pajamas, the swaddle has a 1.0 TOG rating, which makes it ideal for moderate room temperatures (68–72°F).

Comfy Swaddle

My daughter really likes this swaddle! It it soft and breathable, but keeps her feeling snug and safe when she sleeps. She sleeps overnight in it, and I feel confident that it is safe. The fabric is breathable so I'm not concerned about overheating and there is plenty of strong velcro to prevent her wiggling out of it. Great swaddle for growing babies

The wearable swaddle was appealing for the three different wearing options. I like that it can change based on your baby’s needs without having to purchase a new product. It was easy to use and comfortable for my daughter. The fabric quality was nice, but the color was not my favorite- would be nice for gender neutral, but I prefer something more colorful.

This swaddle had so many good things about it. I love that it is 100% organic cotton. The fabric is light and soft, with a 1.0 TOG weight. It makes it feel breathable and light enough for any kind of weather. The 3-6 month size is comparable to other brands sizing and is right on par for size. Amazing, organic, swaddle!

This swaddle has been amazing for our 8 week old son! He love to have his hands up by his face, and has broken out of many other swaddles. This one’s Velcro is so strong he can’t break through- and the fabric is soft and stretchy so he is comfortable. I love the 3 options to swaddle, we have used both the arms up and down option and both are great. We’re not yet to the phase of arms out- but excited to use that option once we’re there.

This swaddle material is light and breathable for my baby. When I swaddle him he felt comfortable. I am using this swaddle for his day naps since it’s not too hot and not too cold for him. The velcro is good for him to not escape. The double zipper makes it easy to do diaper changes.

LOVED this swaddle for my newborn!!! We had such a hard time trying to do a regular swaddle with blankets and it was not working. He would escape or it wouldn’t calm him down! Loved how this swaddle had Velcro to help keep it closed, also made it super easy for us parents to figure out! It’s also great when they start rolling over that you can still use it and just keep their arms out! The baby can still feel secure in the swaddle wrap just without their arms in it. It’s great it comes in the neutral color too so I can use it easily with future kids also!

My little one is not a swaddle enthusiast but this swaddle really helps with that. Mostly because it’s so versatile. With traditional swaddles she wiggles her arms out so it’s nice there’s an option to swaddle her arms free. I love how soft the Velcro is and the organic cotton is really soft and cozy. My overall impression of the Small Story Wearable Swaddle Cotton is extremely positive. It’s well-designed, secure, and clearly made with real parent needs in mind.
