Overview

Description

The Elvie Breast Pump is built with silent technology so you can pump anytime, anywhere—at home, work or on the go. It’s worn discreetly inside your nursing bra (no tubes or wires), making it truly hands-free and the first of its kind.

The Elvie has variable suction with seven intensity settings. It’s responsive, meaning it automatically switches from Stimulation into Expression mode when it detects let-down and pauses when the bottle is full. The sleek all-in-one design is easy to assemble and when you’re done pumping, it has just five parts to clean.

You can also connect to the free Elvie Pump app to monitor milk volume in real time, track pumping history for each breast and control the pump remotely.

Double Pump Includes (Insurance Option):

Note: When selecting the Elvie breast pump through Babylist Health insurance, you will receive the double electric pump option. The single pump version is not covered under Babylist Health.

I had an Elvie three years ago and used that through two babies. We just had our last baby and I bought a new one. Still as good as I remembered! Although, I have an oversupply this time and I don’t feel it empties me as much as it could but the cups are only 6oz which for me it always stops at 4oz and says full which can be 5 minutes into my 30 min pump. I am not sure how much some other pumps leak but this one does leak if you bend over which I guess is ok (not if you have two other toddlers

My honest opinion: get it.
I wanted so bad to write this revirew because reading the comments almost stopped me from buying it.
I am a second time mom. I did not buy it for my first time, and I regret it now.
Yes, it is not the cheapest pump.
Yes, the app is not great, but it works. And you can use the pump without the app with it annoys you.
Yes, it does not measure with precision the amount of milk extracted. But whats the harm in that?
Do not let this stop you from buying this pump.
I can say I have tried a lot of pumps, and I am in love with my Elvies.

Not for long-term use
This is a great pump but often leaks, unfortunately. I've had it for a while now and use almost everyday at least once and the leaking has gotten progressively worse over time, warranty is very short so for long-term use would not recommend.

Milk spills when bending over
I have been using this for 2 months. I was excited to be able to move around, do laundry/dishes, and get things done without being tied to sitting in one spot while pumping. Unfortunately, the way the milk storage is designed, it spills out of the front if you bend over, walk around the house when it’s full, or do much more than sit in one spot. It is also difficult to pour the milk into a container using the spout without leaving some in the pump. Lastly, the molded plastic appears to already

Great for pumping on the go
I have this as my secondary pump but use it at least once or twice each day. I have a toddler in addition to a new born so being able to pump on the go is crucial.

It pumps great as long as my bra is supportive enough that the pump is not sliding around.

Absolutely my favorite pumps
I tried many brands and this is absolutely by far my favorite pumps. It's easy to use, comfortable to pump, not noisy, I can pump during a work meeting or doing chores, they lasted for over 3 years with my first child and I bought a second pair now to have a flexibility to pump at work and home if needed with a new child.
It's so worth the money!
My best investment during my first 3 years of motherhood! Never regret it!

Don't do it
I got these pumps after having my first born and what a regret! They are not water proof so as soon as a drop of liquid touches the motor they break. Most of the time the Bluetooth didn't work and they would randomly stop taking a charge. Thankfully with these known issues I was able to get warranty replacements every time..... I think I went through EIGHT motors during the ~2 years I breast fed.

Love these pumps but they don’t last!
Love these pumps but they don’t last! I bought the pair with my first baby, and when I tried to use them for my second baby only one of the pumps was functioning. Customer service is zero help and the warranty only covers it for 2 years so I ended up buying a single pump to replace it for $299! After 2 months the other pump crapped out too so if I buy a single one to replace that I’m down another $299! I can buy the Eufy for $149, but i have all these parts for the Elvie pump so it all feel so wasteful and bad for the environment and my bank account. So bummed.

I AM NOT YOUR GUINEA PIG
My experience with Elvie was so unbelievably frustrating. I was a first time mom and I wanted to love the pump so much. It sold me a dream that soon became a nightmare. The pump had so many different problems I was constantly trying to troubleshoot it with the customer care team via email! No real person to talk to, having to wait days for a response only to receive pamphlets on instructions and pop quizzes full of questions to answer. I paid over $500 for the pump and they refused to give me a
