hospital grade pump
This pump was a life saver when I was building up a supply of milk and when I had to pump on the go while we were traveling.

Horrible. Don’t waste your money or time
Not sure how they can say this is hospital grade. Poor suction. Leaks easily. So many different parts to put back together after cleaning. The pour out is not the easiest. Mine stopped pumping on one side after 2 1/2 weeks of use. I stupidly ordered it a few months before my baby was born, thinking i was being pro-active. However, because of the 90 day warranty couldn’t get any parts replaced. I regret getting this one through my insurance. Use spectra!

I loved it until it broke
As an exclusively pumping mom, I absolutely loved this pump until it broke… TWICE
This was a nightmare as I was solely relying on this pump
the piece that’s hard plastic and clicks into place broke twice.

It's a good pump, but definitely room for improvem
The pump has good suction, it's a convenient size, which makes it easy to travel with. However. . . it does leak (I only pump once a day), it seems that as soon as it's no longer under suction it releases, so you have to be really quick at pouring it into whatever storage you're using. Not a deal breaker, but not ideal.

My biggest bugbear is the connectivity to the app! It's so intermittent - sometimes it connects and it's absolutely fine, other times it will loose connection mid pump and

Faulty parts and poor warranty
Often spills because some milk trapped in the flange and rubber stopper ripped within 7 weeks of use. Unfortunately I bought the pump before my baby arrived so was not able to get any replacement parts from the warranty.

Saved my sanity!
Having my 2nd child, I was so relieved my health insurance covered this pump. My pros and cons are nit picky but the pros do outweigh the cons for me and the mobility is really what's saved my sanity.

Pros: It's so much more sleek and mobile than traditional electric breast pumps, I can do a fair amount of things like read to my older child or wash dishes while wearing these! It's also not as difficult to hand-wash as regular breast pump pieces (though the fridge hack is still a life

Life Happens, Elvie Delivers
I really do love my Elvie! It gives me freedom I just don’t get with my plug-in pumps. I can use it while driving, running errands, cooking, cleaning, or even just hanging out with my baby — and it still keeps my supply stable. It’s perfect for when life is busy and I don’t want to be tied down to an outlet.

That said, I wouldn’t call it a full replacement for my Spectra. The output is good enough for supply maintenance, but if I need to maximize every ounce, my Spectra (or Medela) will

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, DO NOT BUY
The cups come apart. Replaced parts and they still came apart. Customer service was terrible and only replaced the one part of the pump that was still working. It’s going to cost over $100 just to replace again. Just the parts. $100 in parts alone. DO NOT BUY.

Sadly disappointed
The pump hardly has any suction. I wouldn’t call it hospital grade. My battery doesn’t stay charged it goes down half way within five minutes of pumping. For the price and reviews I’m highly disappointed and I wish this could be returned because it doesn’t function to the standard I thought I was receiving.
