Overview
Description
This is the sleekest model in the Spectra line. It’s discreet and rechargeable (the battery typically lasts for about 3 pumping sessions, 30 minutes each) and weighs only .5 lbs.
It has adjustable suction levels in both the massage mode (that simulates the natural suckling of a baby) and expression mode.
Also helpful: the LED-display gives you a quick overview of the current settings (like the mode, suction and battery level).
This also has similar features to the Spectra S1, like back-flow protection that protects your milk from harmful bacteria (it’s a closed-system pump), it easily switches between a double and single pump and remembers your last pump settings.
The cons: it’s not as quiet as the S1 or S2 and while gentle, it’s not a heavy-duty pump if you prefer an extra-strong suction.

are the parts dishwasher safe?
Best Answer: Yes, many parts of the 9 Plus Premier Breast Pump are dishwasher safe. Components such as the breast shield/flange, upper and lower case of the backflow protector, bottle, bottle ring, bottle cover, and disk can be cleaned in the dishwasher. It's recommended to place these items on the top rack and use the wash cycle only, allowing them to air dry afterward.
Is it BPA free?
Best Answer: Only the components that come in contact with breast milk are BPA free.
Is this a handsfree portable pump?

Best portable pump!
Had this one for my first baby and loved it so much I had to get it for my second! It was perfect for on the go and at home. It says the suction is not as strong as the S1/S2 but for a portable pump it’s still quite strong! I found that I would not have leaking issues of weak suction like my medela that I have now. All the parts were easy to clean and set up. I will always recommend this pump!

Love it!
I love this pump! small enough to fit in a pocket or tuck into a pumping bra strap, rechargeable, and I get the same out put with this as I do with a hospital grade Spectra S1 or S2!

This is the worst breast pump I’ve ever used. I received it through my insurance (which is the only saving grace) and it seemed to work well at first. Well around 3 months post-partum I went from pumping 6-9oz total to around 2-3 max if I was lucky. I thought my milk supply was depleting and I was super worried. I replaced all of the parts and that didn’t help. Then my friend offered her old Medela to borrow and I gave that a shot. Wow, night and day difference. I’m at 6 months post-partum and…
