Using the latest technology, the Synergy Gold Electric Breast Pump is the first pump of its kind that allows parents to adjust each side independently. Like all Spectra pumps, the SG is a true closed system, creating a hygienic barrier between outside contaminants and the milk.
Natural Nursing Technology combines gentle vibration with soothing suckling action to stimulate milk production. This mimics the natural way a baby nurses and promotes a more comfortable pumping experience. It’s also ultra quiet for discreet pumping sessions.
Another parent-friendly feature: the LED lamp shines a mild indirect light for breastfeeding in dark rooms and as a sleep lamp.

Best Answer: You can pump into bottles or directly into storage bags with many pumps. If your pump doesn’t support storage bags, you can pour the milk from the bottle into bags for freezer storage.

Best Answer: The biggest difference is that the Synergy has two motors. This means you are able to customize settings for each breast. Apart from that, the Synergy has more massage and suction levels and is quieter and comes with a mute function. It doesn't have a rechargeable battery though, unlike the S1.
can you use the babylist discount for this?

If something were to happen and the pump stopped working, will spectra honor the 2 year warranty if purchase through Babylist and my insurance?

Best Corded Pump Around
I love this pump and the setting options. It's got great suction and really lasts. I used it for my first born 3 years ago and pulled it out for my second and it still works perfectly. I'm an exclusive pumper so I've really put this thing to work. If you are looking for a corded pump, this is the way to go.

I love this pump because it has two separate motors! I am able to pump at a certain vacuum level on one side and use a different vacuum level on the other. This has been so helpful. I have exclusively pumped for 3 children now with the Spectra Synergy Gold being my main pump. I recommend this to all new moms. It is by far the best pump I have used to date!

Amazing! I loved the aesthetic of this pump. How it looked caught my eye initially. This pump is just as effective as the s1 but the dual pump made it soo much better. When you need stronger suction on one side but not the other, you can do that!! I used this primarily at night given it’s a wall pump but that’s was absolutely okay with me. Not too loud. Wasn’t disturbing to my baby nor my husband while they slept when I pumped. Overall, 10/10 and worth it.

Perfect if you have a slacker boob that needs higher suction
I started with the Spectra S1 and switched to Medela Symphony, before I realized my two sides need very different suction levels. My slacker boob needs a level 10 and my over producer is happy with level 3. The Spectra Gold is perfect for me and I find the suction more comfortable somehow than the S1, though I can’t explain it.

BEST PUMP ...To buy directly from Spectra
I got this pump, mostly paid by insurance. I used it, I loved it. It is fully customizable for each side which is ideal. It is a really strong pump and helped keep my milk supply strong and steady but the trade off is it has to be plugged in.My pump broke, so I had to use a backup from a friend. A Spectra 1. It was not anywhere near as good and my milk supply dropped significantly. and I tried to follow up with Spectra for the 2 year warranty. They will not honor purchases from Amazon. I had…

Great Pump!
This is an incredible pump. It gives a great output for me and I love that you can change the suction on each side independently. It is a little bit bulkier than my other Spectra, but I LOVE this one!

Would not recommend- quickly stopped working
One side of this pump broke after only 5 weeks of use. Spectra’s customer support does not seem well versed in troubleshooting the Synergy Gold as most of their resources are for the S1 and S2. Overall, very disappointing.

Six month update!
I’ve been using this daily 6-8 times since I was 1 week PP. this pump is incredible and really improved my output. I’m an exclusive pumper and you really can’t beat the motor on this thing.
