Using the latest technology, the Synergy Gold Electric Breast Pump is the first pump of its kind that allows parents to adjust each side independently. Like all Spectra pumps, the SG is a true closed system, creating a hygienic barrier between outside contaminants and the milk.
Natural Nursing Technology combines gentle vibration with soothing suckling action to stimulate milk production. This mimics the natural way a baby nurses and promotes a more comfortable pumping experience. It’s also ultra quiet for discreet pumping sessions.
Another parent-friendly feature: the LED lamp shines a mild indirect light for breastfeeding in dark rooms and as a sleep lamp.

So you can only pump into bottles? You can’t pump into storage bags? I’m new to all this so I assume that you can pour what’s in the bottle into a storage bag for the freezer to stock up? Is that convenient or ideal?
Best Answer: You can pump into bottles or directly into storage bags with many pumps. If your pump doesn’t support storage bags, you can pour the milk from the bottle into bags for freezer storage.

Best Answer: The biggest difference is that the Synergy has two motors. This means you are able to customize settings for each breast. Apart from that, the Synergy has more massage and suction levels and is quieter and comes with a mute function. It doesn't have a rechargeable battery though, unlike the S1.
can you use the babylist discount for this?
Best Answer: You can apply the 15% Babylist Discount to the SG. Other exclusions may apply though.
If something were to happen and the pump stopped working, will spectra honor the 2 year warranty if purchase through Babylist and my insurance?

Best Answer: Maymom manufactures excellent adapters for Spectra but they only currently have adapters that work with the S1, S2 and 9 Plus.

Love this pump!
Love this pump! My favorite aspects are how quiet it is and the light!

Would not recommend- quickly stopped working
One side of this pump broke after only 5 weeks of use. Spectra’s customer support does not seem well versed in troubleshooting the Synergy Gold as most of their resources are for the S1 and S2. Overall, very disappointing.

Everything and MORE!
This pump has every feature you want and more! The ability to change the settings per side was a game changer for my differing supply levels. I actually didn't run into any issues with the pump being corded - it gave me a forced excuse to sit down and relax! In my opinion, this is the best pump out there.

Pump doesn’t work at all.
My suction on the pump isn’t working. It is nothing at all and I would like it to be replaced with another one considering I paid for it. I ended up buying a portable one and that’s how I knew. I am an over supplier and breastfeeding and am returning to work and since I paid for it I would like for it to work

Going on 3 months of exclusive pumping and still loving this pump! Customizable to left and right sides, and it saves the settings you last used. Efficient and not too loud at all

Love my Synergy!
Love my synergy gold. Works great, easy to set up and use, comes with 24 and 28 mm flanges and 2 bottles. Pump is quiet, has great suction. Nightlight has 3 settings and is great for pumping in a dark room. Only downside is that it is not portable like the s2, other than that I have 0 complaints, this pump has made me enjoy breastfeeding!
