BEST pump
Fantastic pump. I used multiple with both my boys (Spectra S1, Willow mobile, etc.) and loved this one the absolute most. Super mobile. Great settings. Holds a charge for multiple sessions. You won't regret it.

My #1 go to pump
Good quality and very reliable pump. Never had any issues with this pump and will be using it for the second time with baby #2.

Expensive and not worth it
Terrible pump. This is not truly portable. Yes, you're not tethered to a wall, but you can't exactly move around while pumping. It's heavy, and the tubing is the worst because its so loose. It takes close to 45+ min to completely empty my breasts. I switched to the Baby Buddha pump, which is very powerful and effiecient. It's been a game changer for me since starting out with the Spectra Gold pump.

Don’t buy!
Horribly painful experience. The expression cycle speed is very slow and causes pain and nerve pain up the breast. Truly a bad pump. This was covered by my insurance and I ended up buying a second pump because this one was killing my supply due to being so painful to use. Made me hate pumping. Switched to the Elvie stride 2 and it changed everything. Much better experience. Save your time and money. Do not buy this!

Slow and painful
What Spectra doesn’t make clear, unless you read the manual prior to purchasing, is the expression cycle speed is the slowest on the market being fixed at 26 cycles per minute. All the other pumps on the market are 54 cycles per minute, or a range of speeds. This is far too slow to drive production and painful. My lactation consultant was horrified and called this model garbage when she found that out.
I’m now having to look into purchasing another pump out of pocket since this absolutely won’t work for me.

Great pump!
LOVE this little pump! I am an exclusive pumper so I use this one and my S2 daily. I get the same output out of both, but the S2 is definitely more adjustable with different speed settings.

The cons: This pump has a letdown and an expression mode and you cannot adjust speed. My CLC we saw after giving birth mentioned she (and others) needed different speeds as well as to be able to adjust suction, but that hasn't been the case for me. The biggest drawback of this one is the "portability"

Did not work.
Did not pump strongly enough. It seems the pump was overall broken. I would barely get ANY milk out. I switched to another pump and my milk would come out well. I think this one was a defect because it did not work right.

Waste of Money
This pump is absolutely terrible! There are only 2 cycle speeds- way too fast and way too slow, no in between. The tubing falls out so easily. There is no strap so it's not really "portable." And it is heavy. The biggest waste of money. I am a loyal spectra s1 user and am now just using my old one instead of this new useless pump.

Not all settings are adjustable
I got this for the convenience of mobility not realizing that all the settings were not adjustable. If you have a good established milk supply and want something that is easy to carry on the go then it might be a good option. Battery life is terrible after a month it won’t hold a charge very well and you can only get one or two pumps out of it and need to be plugged into the wall regardless. I saw a lactation specialist and she said this pump was “garbage” because you cannot adjust the cycle settings. I ended up buying a regular spectra s2 and like it much better and get better output.
