About this Product
  • Easier, foolproof way to swaddle
  • 3-way adjustable swaddle
  • Inverted zipper opens and closes from bottom

The HALO SleepSack Swaddle has all the benefits of a traditional swaddle, but in a much simpler and foolproof design. The Velcro wings make it easy to wrap the swaddle around your baby and keep his or her arms safely immobilized, preventing the startle reflex that can disturb rest. As a bonus, the 2-in-1 adjustable design of the SleepSack Swaddle actually lets you to keep your baby’s arms inside or outside of the swaddle. This maximizes your child’s comfort and eventually helps him or her transition smoothly out of full swaddling.

The HALO swaddle is embroidered with “back is best” on the front, reminding caregivers to always place your baby to sleep on her back. It’s meant to be used over PJs in the place of a loose blanket.

The zipper opens and closes from the bottom, making diaper changes easier. And the roomy sack at the bottom allows your baby to move her legs freely, promoting long-term hip health (though some babies sleep better when both legs and arms are wrapped snugly).

Parents report that the HALO SleepSack Swaddle holds up well to washing, but do remember to attach the Velcro to itself so it doesn’t stick to itself or other items in the wash. Stop swaddling when your baby shows signs of rolling over or breaking out of the wrap.

To use the HALO SleepSack Swaddle, first zip your child into the main pouch. Then wrap the Velcro wings around each other, keeping your child’s arms under each wing as you go. See HALO’s video below for more details.

We preferred the Ollie swaddle over the Halo Sleep Sack.

Critical for the first month.

I ended up preferring the fleece version of this because it seemed cozier for the baby.

My baby hated being swaddled so this never worked for us.

Very easy to use. Keeps baby warm and cozy at night. It’s nice to have the option to keep their arms swaddled in or out although sometimes the baby is able to “escape” when arms are swaddled in.

We love the fleece and the cotton! Just got the muslin for the next step and I am sure it will be just as wonderful. Been using Halo Sleep Sacks since our daughter was about a month old and we won't use any other brand.

It keeps baby warm and is much easier to use than a blanket swaddle.

It makes swaddling and midnight diaper changes so easy! It’s also versatile; my son has always slept arms out and this allowed him to do just that, but your baby could just as easily have it’s arms tucked in.

It’s like a blanket but stays close to baby body. once baby gets to be 4-5 months and doesn’t need swaddling it’s still comforting but give them ability to move arms and legs.
