Overview

Description

The Bassinet makes the Mockingbird Single Stroller or Single-to-Double Stroller (sold separately) newborn-ready. It can also be used as an in-home bassinet for naps and overnight sleep when paired with the Mockingbird Bassinet Stand (sold separately). You can also get both in a bundle.

To stroll with the Bassinet, attach it to your Mockingbird stroller. Little ones will be comfortably supported until they grow into the stroller’s toddler seat.

The Bassinet was designed with baby’s comfort and safety in mind, featuring mesh panels on either end for cross-ventilation. The UPF 50+ canopy with a pop-out visor allows for additional shade and ventilation panel for airflow.

It has a foam mattress pad with an OEKO-TEX certified mattress sheet and a removable foot cover to keep little legs protected from the sun.

Thoughtful features include the quick-release buttons, black-and-white interior pattern to support visual development and peekaboo window for quiet check-ins.

Worth it!
We have gotten a lot of use out of this bassinet. We had a summer baby, so used the bassinet on the stroller for fairs, walks, trips to the splash pad, all the things. And then we use it in the house as a place to nap or set the baby down out of the prying hands of her older sister. So practical for the first few months. I'll be sad when my baby grows out of it.

Great purchase!
I bought the bassinet after my grandson was born. My daughter uses it every day! She loves it. The mesh helps with air flow, so my grandson is very comfortable.

A bonus but not a must have…
While the bassinet itself is pretty nice (well made, very roomy, easy to install/remove from stroller), I haven’t used it as much as I thought I would. I live in a very hill-y area and when strolling around with my little one in the bassinet, she slides around A LOT in the bassinet, especially when going downhill. She’s still quite young/little so hopefully as she gains more weight and gets bigger, we’ll get more use out of the bassinet without worrying about her sloshing around in it so much.

Worth it
If you’re on the fence about purchasing this bassinet I say go for it. I was always so skeptical but this being my 3rd baby and the smallest and most scrunched of all my newborns I want comfortable having him be in his car seat as his preferred strolling method so a3 days after he was born I purchased this and I couldn’t be happier I love that it can grow with him and isn’t just useful as a newborn I’ve seen tik toks of people using it with older babies who are able to sit up and have toys and

Great bassinet
It is light and easy to use. I love all the openings for more air entry. Baby was born during the summer so we use it almost every day at parks and walks.

Requires stand
Great bassinet, however it cannot be placed directly on a flat surface, despite the product photo above of the rubber feet on the bottom, indicating it can be set down without the bassinet collapsing. Many bassinets have this ability so it is an intentional design flaw so you purchase the stand. The product is intentionally dangerous and life threatening. Why the rubber feet?
