Overview

Description

This cozy Infant Seat Insert creates a flat seat position with extra head and neck support, allowing the Mockingbird Single Stroller or Single-to-Double Stroller to be used from birth (the Bassinet and Car Seat Adapter are additional options for infant compatibility).

The infant insert is made up of three pieces: the headrest, wedge and seat liner (all of which Mockingbird recently updated to a comfortable, breathable mesh fabric). The headrest cradles baby’s head while they’re still developing the neck strength to stay upright. The wedge nests in the base of the seat to create a flatter surface and prevent slouching. The seat liner connects to the seat itself and holds everything in place (Tip: later on, when they no longer need the headrest or wedge, you can still use the seat liner as an extra layer of mess protection for the stroller seat.)

Begin using the Infant Seat Insert with the seat fully reclined. Once they begin to support their head unassisted (typically around 3-4 months), consider removing the wedge while still keeping the seat fully reclined. Keep using the seat liner and headrest until little ones can sit up by themselves (typically around 6-7 months). At this point, they’re likely ready to sit in the seat without the Infant Seat Insert (please consult with your healthcare provider).

Love it!
It’s really come in handy for making sure my little one is secure and comfortable in her stroller seat so that I have an alternative to the infant carrier.

Perfect for my little!
My little boy came home at 4lbs 7.5oz - We started with the Mockingbird bassinet for him in our single to double stroller but by 3 months old we was starting to be interested in looking around while we walked. We did a little research and ordered the infant seat insert for him and it has been perfect! He was born deaf and with cerebral palsy, so he loves to look around (because he can’t hear his surroundings) but he has slightly high muscle tone (due to the CP) so he needs a little extra

Washable liner
It’s just a washable liner. Does not provide much support. I think a blanket would do better

Works well!
I’ve been using this for a few months now. It works well and provides good support for my baby- she was only 4 months old when I bought it. I’m glad I have it as an option because I don’t always want to use the car seat or the bassinet.

Infant insert
Infant insert was so useful in the initial couple of months to take the baby out for walks instead of using the car seat on the Stroller.

Infant insert
Its soft and well padded. Easy yo install. Supports well. The head support is a little difficult to adjust, but otherwise works great.

worked great
I bought this to use on our double stroller (not Mockingbird) for my infant who was 2 months at the time and it worked out great! We didn't have to buy the bassinet attachment and it saved us a ton of money. Also the padding is very soft and high quality

Infant Insert
I do really like this insert as it adds the additional support needed for an infant, as well as creates a boundary for any messes and you can clean it easier than the stroller. I was comfortable using it once my child was around 2 months old, he was on the smaller side though so that’s just my personal experience.

Safe and comfortable
My 6 month old outgrew the bassinet. We got the cushion and our son likes it even more than the bassinet. It was easy to install. The baby seems comfortable and secured
