Does the Wi-Fi connection have multifactor authentication?
Best Answer: No, the VTech RM5766-2HD does not offer multifactor authentication (MFA) for its Wi-Fi connection. Access to the monitor via the MyVTech Baby Pro app is secured through a password.

Constantly have to foreclose the app
We upgraded to this one because we loved our original vtech monitor with the single camera. This version is so disappointing. Video quality is quite poor, and I have to open and close the app no less than 5 times to get the camera feed to load. Camera accessibility on our phones vs just on the monitor is the whole reason we went with these camera and now this “upgrade” drives me nuts not connecting.

Terrible monitor. Constantly Disconnecting/Issues.
This monitor is garbage. I've had nothing but trouble with it since we began using it. It stays connected for a couple hours, then disconnects and fails to reconnect without resetting the whole thing. I reached out to VTech directly to troubleshoot and all they will do is walk me through how to reset, which I have done repeatedly. I do not recommend this to anybody.

A great monitor!!!
I had a hard time finding a monitor that gave the option of a parent unit AND mobile access. Thats what led me to this baby monitor. The camera works well and has night vision so you’ve got a clear picture in the dark. It tracks temperature as well which I really like. You can talk through the camera and play music too. There’s a ton of settings on the parent unit to customize it to your liking. The connection can be spotty if you’re very far away or have unreliable WiFi, but 99% of the time…

My sleep training companion !
I didn't think I would need to buy a baby monitor since we live in an apartment and can hear our kids easily. Amazong customer service
I love this monitor. It works great for both my kids and gives me the peace of mind I need. I also love how it’s connected to WiFi. I will also add the customer service is amazing! Our original monitor stopped working after a few years, I emailed them to see what I can do to fix it and even being out of the warranty period they did send a new replacement monitor for free. I’m happy to be a customer!

Easy set up
Very easy setup. Love the night vision feature and the ability to move the camera to different angles. The only issue is, is that the video monitor tends to get pixelated often and the image is not clear. We’d have to turn the monitor off and then on to re-focus. Overall good product.
