The camera wouldn’t zoom out. With the camera attached to the crib, the standard picture was WAY too close to where it should’ve been unsafe to use.

I have a slightly older version because I have had mine for two years and it has been outstanding! I have two cameras and I travel with it constantly. I never have any issues and it connects easily no matter where I am. After two years I just now have an issue with the charging port but after speaking with their customer service (which is outstanding) they are going to help me. I could not be happier with this and recommend it highly for anyone who wants a great and easy to use monitor.

Monitor screen broke within 5 months of using it. Never dropped it, hasn’t over heated. Just turned it on and it looked like this and progressively got worst

Excellent baby monitor
We've been using the HelloBaby video monitor every day since bringing our newborn home, and it has exceeded our expectations. The video quality is clear both during the day and at night. It works without Wi-Fi and subscription, which gives us extra peace of mind regarding privacy, reliability, and pricing. Baby was born mid January 2026. I was completely in love with this monitor at first because it was simple. You just plug it in and it works. No apps, no Wi-Fi just plug it in; it was perfect. However, baby is now six months old and the monitor does not work at all. We had to buy a new one. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to get this because it has a very short life.

Sound from monitor and camera is lacking. Hard to hear anything.
It's a pretty good camera until you realize you can't hear anything from the monitor or the camera. Even at full volume all you can really hear is a whisper and you need to be in a completely silent room to hear anything from it. Also wish it came with a wide angle lens that our previous camera had.

Charging port broke
Barely had for 5 months and the charging port broke. Very annoyed as we are on vacation. Waste of money.

Highly Recommend
This monitor does everything we want it to do and more. The video quality is great. The walkie talkie voice option is very useful. Super happy with it!

Great camera!
This camera works great. I can see my baby all around the house on a private secure feed (since it's not on wifi). The camera quality is great and so is the night vision. I'm able to hear my baby and move the camera around remotely if she moves around.
