Official Rules: Babylist Holiday Wishlist Giveaway
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
By participating in the Babylist Holiday Wishlist Giveaway (the “Promotion”), each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Babylist, Inc. (“Sponsor”), which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Promotion.
1. Sponsor. Babylist, Inc., 1900 Powell St, Suite 150, Emeryville, CA 94608.
2. Promotion Period. The Promotion begins September 10, 2026 at 12:00 AM Pacific Time and ends November 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time (the “Promotion Period”). Sponsor's database clock is the official timekeeper for the Promotion.
3. Eligibility. Open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry and who hold a Babylist account. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
(a) Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor and its parent, affiliates, and subsidiaries, and the immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses) and household members of each, regardless of the email address used to enter, are not eligible to enter or win.
(b) Sponsor may verify eligibility, including residency, at any time. Entries determined to be from an ineligible person or account will be void.
4. How to Enter. No purchase, payment, or additional action beyond ordinary use of the Babylist wishlist feature is required to enter. There is no entry form and no opt-in step; entry is automatic for any Babylist account holder who satisfies the Qualifying Activity below during the Promotion Period.
(a) “Qualifying Activity” means the list owner of a Holiday Wishlist adds at least five (5) distinct products to that Holiday Wishlist during the Promotion Period. The Holiday Wishlist may have been created before or during the Promotion Period; only the timing of the qualifying product adds matters.
(b) Only products added by the Holiday Wishlist's owner count. Products added by gift-givers, co-purchasers, or any other visitor to the list do not count toward the five-product threshold.
(c) Products are counted once each; adding duplicates of the same product does not increase an entrant's count of distinct products.
(d) A product need only have been added to the Holiday Wishlist during the Promotion Period to count — it does not need to remain on the list as of the end of the Promotion Period.
(e) To remain eligible, the qualifying Holiday Wishlist and the associated Babylist account must both still exist and be active at the time of the drawing described in Section 6. Wishlists or accounts deleted or closed before the drawing are not eligible, regardless of prior Qualifying Activity.
5. Entry Limit. Limit one (1) entry per person for the duration of the Promotion Period, regardless of the number of Holiday Wishlists a person owns or the number of products added. Entries obtained through the use of multiple accounts, automated means, scripts, or any other method not authorized by these Official Rules will be void.
6. Winner Selection; Odds. On or about December 1, 2026, Sponsor will compile a list of all eligible entrants who satisfied the Qualifying Activity and eligibility requirements above and will select two (2) potential winners by random drawing from among all eligible entries. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The drawing will be conducted by Sponsor or its designated representative, whose decisions are final.
7. Prizes. Two (2) winners will each receive one (1) $250 Visa digital gift card (approximate retail value $250 each; total approximate retail value for the Promotion: $500). Gift cards will be delivered by email. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash or other substitution is permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a stated prize becomes unavailable for any reason.
8. Winner Notification. Potential winners will be notified by email using the address associated with their Babylist account. Each potential winner must, within five (5) business days of notification, sign and return the acceptance and release form provided by Sponsor (via DocuSign or a comparable service). A potential winner who cannot be reached, does not respond within this window, or does not meet the requirements of these Official Rules will forfeit the prize, and Sponsor may select an alternate winner in the same manner described in Section 6, time permitting. Upon receipt of a properly completed and signed acceptance and release, Sponsor will deliver the digital gift card within forty-eight (48) business hours.
9. Publicity and Liability Release. Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes each winner's consent for Sponsor to use the winner's name, likeness, and statements about the Promotion for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, and each winner's release of Sponsor and the Released Parties (as defined in Section 12) from any claims arising from that use.
10. Taxes. Each winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, if any, associated with the receipt or use of a prize.
11. General Conditions.
(a) Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process, acting in violation of these Official Rules, or acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
(b) Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion, or these Official Rules, if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Promotion, subject to applicable law.
(c) Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, or misdirected entries or notifications, or for technical, hardware, software, network, or other failures of any kind.
(d) This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., or any other social media platform through which the Promotion may be advertised.
12. Limitation of Liability; Release. To the maximum extent permitted by law, by entering, each entrant releases and holds harmless Sponsor, its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability for any injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in the Promotion or the acceptance, use, or misuse of a prize. In no event will the Released Parties be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
13. Privacy. Personal information collected in connection with this Promotion (such as name and email address) will be used by Sponsor to administer the Promotion, including winner selection and notification, and otherwise in accordance with Sponsor's Privacy Policy, available at www.babylist.com/privacy.
14. Disputes; Governing Law. These Official Rules, and any dispute arising from or relating to the Promotion, are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
15. Winner List; Copy of Official Rules. For the names of the winners or a copy of these Official Rules, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Babylist, Inc., Attn: Legal – Holiday Wishlist Giveaway, 1900 Powell St, Suite 150, Emeryville, CA 94608, received no later than March 1, 2027.
