Overview

Description

The parent-favorite BassiNest has been reimagined as a 2-in-1 system that easily converts from a bedside sleeper to a portable nest for around the house. This keeps you close to your little one during the day and nighttime, too.

It features all of HALO’s signature features: a swivel for the closest sleep, easy lowering wall and mesh walls for breathability and visibility. The BassiNest 3.0 also has a sleek silhouette with an updated base that’s over 30% lighter, but just as sturdy as the original.

The BassiNest comes with a polyester sheet and waterproof mattress (additional cotton sheets sold separately). It’s compatible with all BassiNest accessories, including the Newborn Insert. The sleep space becomes extra breathable when paired with the HALO DreamWeave pad for additional comfort and peace of mind (sold separately).

Warm Grey is a Babylist exclusive color, so you’ll only find it here.

14 Questions
Does this allow you to rock the baby?

Best Answer:  The HALO BassiNest Swivel Sleeper 3.0 does not have a manual rocking feature. Instead, it offers a 360-degree swivel, allowing you to position your baby close to your bed for easy access during the night. Additionally, the BassiNest Soothing Swivel Sleeper 3.0 model includes built-in soothing features such as gentle vibrations and calming sounds to help your baby fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer.

Does this model have a 360 degree swivel? Or was the full mobility an upgrade applied to just the newer models?

Best Answer:  Yes, the Halo BassiNest Swivel Sleeper 3.0 swivels a full 360 degrees. This feature allows you to easily move the bassinet closer or further away.

What is width including base, is it 32" from edge of leg to edge of leg?

Best Answer:  The width including the base is 33.25".

Is this bassinet easy to travel with? Does the base pack up easily?

Best Answer:  The bassinet can't be folded up and is pretty hefty. So it may not be an appropriate travel bassinet if you need to pack it for a flight.

Can you keep the side in the lowered position without holding it down?

Best Answer:  You can lock the wall in the upright position, but you can't lock it in the lowered position.

Does it have wheels?

Best Answer:  This sleeper does not have wheels.

Is the 36” minimum height from floor to the top of the bassinet or floor to bottom of the bassinet?

Best Answer:  The 36" minimum height measurement is from the floor to the top of the bassinet.

What is the lowest height setting?

Best Answer:  The lowest height setting is 36”.

Is the mattress that comes with the bassinet non-toxic?

Best Answer:  This bassinet, including the mattress, is independently tested to meet and/or exceed all U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission safety standards. It is also JPMA certified.

Does it have any music or vibrations?

Best Answer:  This bassinet model does not have a Soothing Center (the part that provides vibration and calming sounds).

Terrible for bigger babies! Ours outgrew it by 8 weeks and it did not feel sturdy enough at all when he would wiggle around in it (and he was only 11lbs!). Also, the base was so wide and we were constantly tripping over the legs in the dark.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!
I HATE !!!!! First, you would think pushing the side down would be easy, but NO! Trying to lift your baby high enough so that you can push down the side is impossible & ive Actually injured my wrists & shoulder trying to gently place my baby down. Also, be careful not to let the same piece fly up while trying to take the baby out & wack them in the head. The legs are a HUGE tripping hazard, i have tripped more times than i can count. And the mesh has completely stretched out & is not creating a gap that is a suffocation hazard. This should be recalled. End rant.

Very disappointed
Honestly we hated this bassinet. The sides never seemed to stay all the way up so the mesh was very loose and floppy and the bassinet would constantly sink. It wouldn’t stay at the height we wanted it. Also the legs of the bassinet extend very far so they are hard to walk around in the dark. We ended up having to put glow in the dark tape on them to stop from bashing our toes

My daughter is 6 weeks
My daughter is 6 weeks old and I have loved the halo swivel sleeper so far! It’s wondering having her so close, I feel like she’s in bed with us. Knowing she’s safe and being able to easily see her through the mesh helps us all sleep better!

Great bassinet and ideal for newborn!
I absolutely love this bassinet so far! Love that it can be adjusted to the same height as my mattress and that I can see my baby through the mesh. The bendable halo is super convenient and I love the size of the bassinet & the swivel feature. The only thing are the legs are very extended and I have tripped a few times already on them after only having for a couple days.

Disappointed
I bought this Basnett as a replacement of my old one. I washed it all directions. The mesh is now loose as can be and is a high suffocation risk. I’m due in six weeks. An absolutely upset that I wasted my money on this.

Do not purchase!!!
Mattress is super low quality. My baby would just not sleep on it at all. We had to purchase a new bassinet and she is now sleeping just fine. The legs are really inconvenient, you have to have a high bed for them to go under. The side that is supposed to go down so you can reach your baby is really hard to put down. Definitely would not recommend this to anyone.

Very nice bassinet, my newborn
Very nice bassinet, my newborn loves it! Legs are low enough to fit under a lower to ground bed. The 360 degree swivel is clutch. The feature that allows the front of the bassinet to lower to easily lay or take my newborn out is great and allows for smooth transition.

Unsafe Tilt!
Unsafe! It tilts and the baby ends up in the side mesh in the morning. So disappointing in this and wish babylist would take this off and halo should recall. Horrible product!
