Overview
Description
Made for breathability, the 3D-mesh quilted cover is designed for maximum airflow while the core is made of food-grade polymer surrounded by pockets of air.
It features an envelope design for a safe, secure fit during use.
For peace of mind, the core is free from foam, latex, springs, glue and added flame retardants.
The cover is machine washable, while the core can be easily rinsed in the shower.
This is a great option to upgrade from the pad included with the Halo BassiNest Swivel or Glide Sleeper. The mattress can be used with or without an additional BassiNest sheet.

Buy the Naturpedic instead
I do not understand why this mattress gets such good reviews! The cover is not waterproof (which I was aware of when purchasing), so with a newborn I needed to wash it often. When I washed it according to the directions it shrunk and won’t fit on the inside part anymore. I honestly think the original mattress that came with the bassinet is better, especially for newborns. I gave this one a try first instead of the naturpedic, but wish I had gone with the naturpedic first!!

Nicer than the mattress pad the bassinet comes with- would be nice to just have an option to upgrade to this so as not to waste a mattress when you buy the bassinet.
