I absolutely love the HALO Bassinest 4. 0! It feels sturdy, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, and I love the features and overall quality. It’s exactly what I was looking for in a bassinet.
My only disappointment is that the bassinet itself doesn’t roll or come off easily. I wish it were easier to move the entire bassinet from room to room or detach it from the base when needed. Other than that, I’m really happy with it and excited to use it for our baby!

Malfunctions! Beware!
I was so excited about this bassinet but it is very faulty. The height does not stay adjusted to what you want and always slips down to the lowest height, while the baby is in the bassinet which is very unsafe. I recommend looking elsewhere for a bassinet, as pretty as it is. The base is also HUGE and so easy to trip over. Not a fan.

Not worth the $
The locking mechanism doesn’t work. It will slowly slide down on its own while my baby is in it! It also squeaks when I swivel or move the bassinet which wakes up my baby every time. Super disappointed.

Do not buy!!
The height adjuster does not stay. It drops with little to no pressure. Very frustrating! Glad I tested this out before baby came. Very disappointing for the price.

I had a very difficult
I had a very difficult postpartum recovery with my second and this bassinet would have been absolutely amazing and a total game changer during this time. Currently pregnant with my third and I am so excited to have this bassinet to make my life easier this time around.

Locking mechanisms don’t work!
We got this as a gift off of our registry, based upon lots of research saying this was a great bassinet. We are two months from our due date and have put it together just to find the locking mechanisms don’t work. The height aspect slowly goes back down, the lock does not stay in place. The locks on the side also do not seem to keep the bassinet locked in place, causing some significant safety concerns! Help!

Trip hazard
This is the only baby item I regret purchasing. The legs extend so far beyond the footprint of the bassinet itself. We have tripped over it so many times already in the daytime let alone when the room is pitch black for sleeping. I am considering buying a different bassinet because I’m afraid of tripping while carrying baby. Absolutely ridiculous design.

Height Locking Mechanism Does Not Work
Bassinet height locking does not work, glad we tested it before the baby arrived. This seems to have been a reported issue for several users - Halo needs to address this ASAP.
