Description
Designed with a solid wood frame and baby-safe finish, the lightweight Newton Baby Bassinet is ultra-breathable and washable.
Utilizing the same patented Wovenaire technology as their crib mattress, it features a large sleep surface to allow for extended use as your baby grows. The custom bassinet mattress is completely washable from cover to core–just hand rinse in the shower or tub.
The infant-access opening is designed for use in the bedside-sleeper setting to quickly access and soothe your baby. Eight adjustable heights allow for ease of use and safety.
Patented Wovenaire technology is at the core of the breathe-thru mattress, reducing the risk of suffocation and overheating. Breathable mesh walls also provide airflow and visibility.

Not sure how others have a bad experience with this- because this bassinet has worked great so far for us. You can use extra stabilizers that’s attached to the feet too if needed (if you’re on a carpet or something) but we didn’t even really need to use it we just did just for peace of mind.

Fear Inducing Design Flaw
As others have stated, the bassinet sits uneven & tilts to one side because the frame/mattress is only supported by fabric. So your baby will slowly inchworm their way to the corner/wall of the mattress. This might be fine, but as a first time parents, this just adds to our paranoia.

The Bedside Bassinet ROCKS!!!
As a dad of three kids, I’ve seen my fair share of baby gear, and the Newton Bedside Bassinet has honestly been one of the best pieces we’ve used. Peace of mind - highly recommend
Loved this bassinet with our little one. Always had peace of mind given the breathability especially when baby would roll over or move around. One big plus for us was that it is also lightweight and easy to move from room to room, which we did often for daytime naps in the living room vs nursery vs nights in our bedroom. Also living in a smaller apartment, the small footprint was greatly appreciated but still plenty of internal space on for the baby to be comfortable for many months as he grew. Highly recommend!

Best bassinet with breathable mattress!
With my first baby, my daughter grew out of her bassinet so fast. I researched the best bassinets and Newton is the largest in size, so I am hoping to have her in this bassinet for closer to 6 months. We love our newton crib mattress and we love that this bassinet mattress is also breathable and gives us peace of mind! It was easy to set up/breakdown and can be moved around easily. Wish I had this with my first!

Worth it!
We are loving the Newton bassinet! It’s lightweight and compact, which makes it perfect for our townhome. Since we have multiple floors, we may need to carry it upstairs or downstairs, but because it’s so lightweight, that won’t be a problem at all.

Exactly what we were looking for!
With our second child on the way we wanted something that was safe yet functional for our child. After having an amazing experience with our first child’s mattress from newton we decided to give this Bassinet a try. Sturdy and well built.

Just what we were looking for!
