Mattress Not Designed for Life with a Newborn
The bassinet has a non-standard mattress size and comes with a single very thin cotton sheet. The mattress also has holes through the whole thing and the user manual explicitly states it is not washable. Called customer support to ask about what to do if baby has a blowout and contaminates the mattress, and their only solution was to replace the mattress. They do not sell a mattress protector, and would not advise about potential compatible ones. We're scared to even use this thing.

Worth every penny. I went back and forth on this my entire pregnancy, and now that I finally bit the bullet, I am so glad I did. This is going to be so much easier to transport for sleeping when traveling her first 6 months than the pack and play. It attaches to the Triv Next so will be great for days out and about and not leaving her in the Pipa too long. There’s storage in the stand and also in the bassinet itself.
