I’m so disappointed in this product. The monitor and sock are both equally trash. My baby is 5 months and I’ve had it.
We’ve been using the sock since he was a newborn. First off, it was close to impossible to set up. It will tell you your WiFi password is incorrect. I swear I had to do witchcraft to get it to connect and I probably couldn’t do it again if I had to.
We transitioned him to his room at 4 months and his base station stayed in our room. It’s not even 10 feet away…

If the power goes out, the devices will not operate unless they are connected to a backup power solution, such as an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) or a portable power bank with an AC outlet for temporary use.

We use the owlet monitor and camera. I have been pretty impressed by the monitor accuracy. We got this after our 16 month old passed from SUCD and it has given us piece of mind for our living child. The alarms are pretty accurate and don't happen to frequently. The most common is the yellow alarm for placement. The Dream Sock was a total game changer for our peace of mind. I was constantly waking up to check if my baby was breathing. Every little sound or silence had me on edge.

Issues with connecting the camera to the app. After days of troubleshooting with owlet support and splitting my wifi into 2 bands 2.4G and 5G with the assistance of my internet provider I was told that it was an issue with my internet connection and not a defective product so I was not eligible for a return. The camera still does not work and we were forced to absorb the cost of this $400+camera as well as the cost of going and buying a reliable camera to replace it. Definitely do not recommend.

Lifesaver for anxious parents!
I could not survive without this! I have terrible anxiety and I couldn’t sleep when my first son was first born. Then entered the Owlet MY HERO to a restful sleep. I was finally able to sleep without constant fear of my son not breathing. Worth the investment
High quality video monitoring of baby with customizable notification settings. Detects the temperature and humidity in the baby’s room so we can ensure it stays comfortable in there at all times. The sock provides peace of mind. My son is only 6 weeks old and has already slept through the night on multiple nights this last week. The first time he did, I woke up so worried that he wasn’t breathing but he was fine and the Owlet had tracked that he was sleeping soundly through the night.
