What weabout it
Innovative design stores easily and offers younger babies a comfy wash in the bathroom sink

The Puj tub is truly like no other. The innovative design lets you bathe newborns and young babies confidently in the bathroom sink. No need to stoop, lean, or squat by the tub or move to the kitchen to give a bath (especially good if you’ve had a C-section).

The soft foam sink insert snugly cradles your baby in a reclined position. With less “tub” space, there’s less room for baby to slip around, freeing up your hands and making bath time more relaxing for everyone.

The space-saving Puj is made of flexible, durable, quick-drying foam that folds and conforms to the sink, then hangs flat for easy storage (one reviewer even stores it with the cookie sheets).

The catch: the Puj will only work with certain sinks. It won’t work in a tub sink that’s too big, like a kitchen sink, as it relies on the physical support of the sink itself to work. See the ideal dimensions listed below. Also most babies outgrow it around six months. Once they can sit up confidently around that time they can graduate to supervised baths in the tub.

  • 25.2” x 26.4” x 0.8”
  • Maximum weight recommendation: 16.5 Pounds
  • Mold and mildew resistant
  • BPA and PVC free
  • Fits in most standard-sized bathroom sinks. Ideal sink dimensions are 12–16” front to back, 12–15” side to side, and 6.5-9” deep.

We found that it was more difficult than it was worth to get baby situated in it just right so that she was comfortable but we could also bathe her safely. Ultimately we used a different infant bath tub.

This was great for the first few months of baby baths. It kept our little guy cozy and stored flat which was lovely for travel and storage reasons. It did seem pretty flimsy given the price but I suppose that is the world of baby goods.

While this product is great for space saving, I don't find it all that useful as a bathtub. It's basically an expensive foam pad. And it useless after your baby no longer fits in the sink. I'd recommend getting an actual plastic tub version that fits in the sink, but then can transition to your actual bath tub too.

The Puj is perfect for the first 6ish months, especially if you live in a small space! It allows for easy sink bathing - soft surface for baby, drains well, no hurting your knees bending over the tub, easy to travel with. Highly recommend!

It doesn’t stay put in the sink and tends to float when baby is not in it.

This was perfect for us from the age of newborn through 6 months or so, at which point we switched to a lounger in a big bathtub. Fits in any sink and is so convenient to store/travel with.

Doesn’t fit in all sinks so was mostly useless for us.

We use the Puj exclusively the first three or so months but found that after that, our son no longer fit the tub. It was fantastic in saving space and super easy to use and clean, just not a long-term product. It is also fairly pricey.

It has a very limited window of use. For $40, we used it for maybe a month or two and ended up getting a standard baby tub anyway (for like $16) because our son liked to splash in the bath but isn't ready for the full tub. There was no way for him to sit in water with the Puj. The regular baby tub had an infant sling, no need to buy two products.
