What weabout it
This knot-free wrap feels like wearing your favorite tee.

About this Product
  • 3 possible positions: front facing in, front facing out, hip carry
  • Easy, three-step configuration
  • Sized for wearer
  • No infant insert necessary

This carrier is ideal for parents who can’t face the usual 10-plus steps required to use a wrap carrier, but still want the snuggly closeness of a wrap. Pared down to three steps that even the sleep-deprived can handle, the Baby K’tan goes on quickly in three easy steps and comfortably works in up to six different positions. (It does require some practice to master the steps of looping the material into various positions.) It also has a carrying pouch that doubles as a supportive sash for your back.

Like most wraps, the K’tan is best for smaller babies. It does not have structured support to carry heavier babies for long periods of time.

Unlike a typical wrap that can be modified to fit all-size wearers, the Baby K’tan comes in specific sizes. A partner or caregiver whose body size is different from yours won’t be able to share this carrier with you. The carrier size generally corresponds to your fitted (tight) t-shirt size. (See details in specs below.) If you are 5’2” or under it is recommended to choose a smaller size. If you are in between sizes based on the measurements above, it is recommended to choose the smaller size. If you are pregnant, base sizing on your pre-pregnancy size. The carrier is meant to fit snugly!

My baby lived in here for the first few months! He snuggled right up and slept on my chest. Great way for babe to sleep and mama to have her arms free to prep dinner, etc.

Hard to keep baby from slipping down. Also, can't share easily with husband.

It's pretty easy to put on, and it's pretty comfortable. My baby is on the bigger side, though, so once he hit 3 months his weight was too much for me to carry without more padding on my shoulders. If you can, borrow different types of carriers from friends or family to find what it most comfortable for you and your baby.

So soft and easy to use. Loved this when my baby was small! Best cloth carrier, much easier to use then Moby.

It my opinion, it was so much easier to put on than figuring out a wrap. My son also loved it and would fall asleep in it so easily! It may seem intimidating at first but once you get the hang of putting it on it becomes a breeze. It was one of things we used most during the early days.

This is the #1 product I couldn't live without. I got a medium based on a recommendation and it has worked from the time my baby was 5lb to now (she is almost 9 months old and 18lbs). We joke she will go to college taking naps in the wrap (lovingly nicknamed the "nap wrap"). It freed up my hands in the early days when all she wanted was to be held. It's easy-to-use design allows you to get the baby in the wrap alone and it is machine washable! If it starts stretching out, simply pop it in the wash and dryer to shrink it back up. I don't have enough wonderful things to say about the Baby K'Tan. LOVE!

I got the small size and it fit really well for my Preemie and me. She loved it and slept soundly when I had her wrapped up. It lasted about a month and a half before it became too snug/tight for her to sit comfortably. Disappointed I couldn’t wear it longer. I loved the time I had with her when she was first born.

When baby is newborn you want to keep them snug and close to your body. This does that perfectly and it’s easy to use after a couple of usages. It can be confusing the first time you use it, but after that it’s easy. And it's stretchable for when your newborn gets a little chunky but not yet ready for the carrier.

Easy to use, easy to bring with you in the carrying pouch and easy to clean (no buckles or straps to bang around and get tangled in the washer). Great for the early baby "floppy" stage. Allows you to keep baby on your chest in basically the same position you would hold them but now your hands are free.
