What weabout it
This knot-free wrap feels like wearing your favorite tee.

About this Product
  • 3 possible positions: front facing in, front facing out, hip carry
  • Easy, three-step configuration
  • Sized for wearer
  • No infant insert necessary

This carrier is ideal for parents who can’t face the usual 10-plus steps required to use a wrap carrier, but still want the snuggly closeness of a wrap. Pared down to three steps that even the sleep-deprived can handle, the Baby K’tan goes on quickly in three easy steps and comfortably works in up to six different positions. (It does require some practice to master the steps of looping the material into various positions.) It also has a carrying pouch that doubles as a supportive sash for your back.

Like most wraps, the K’tan is best for smaller babies. It does not have structured support to carry heavier babies for long periods of time.

Unlike a typical wrap that can be modified to fit all-size wearers, the Baby K’tan comes in specific sizes. A partner or caregiver whose body size is different from yours won’t be able to share this carrier with you. The carrier size generally corresponds to your fitted (tight) t-shirt size. (See details in specs below.) If you are 5’2” or under it is recommended to choose a smaller size. If you are in between sizes based on the measurements above, it is recommended to choose the smaller size. If you are pregnant, base sizing on your pre-pregnancy size. The carrier is meant to fit snugly!

I never felt truly secure not keeping one hand on baby while wearing it. I followed the instructions, but was still nervous about how secure he was.

I absolutely love the material of this wrap! Its so comfortable and great quality. I love that my baby is secure. It's super easy to load your baby up and go!

The product is great for a newborn, but that’s it. I even brought the carrier to someone who specializes in babywear and they told me my daughter was already too big for it at 3 months old. By the time I wanted to be out and about and have a need for the product, I needed something more supportive.

This is the best product for new parents. My husband and I used it SO much the first 6 months. It's easy to use, comfortable and snuggly for baby. She took great naps on the go in this and loved being "worn." Easy to wash and care for. Folds up and fits easily in a diaper bag.

The sling material is thicker so if you're using with an infant in the summer, it's not the most comfortable (hot and sweaty as baby runs warm). Look for the same brand but the breathable material.

I wasn’t overly thrilled with this. However, I wasn’t a big fan of wearing my daughter. I was always nervous that she was getting too hot or that her face would get buried. We have the ergo carrier and it’s great for her at 8 months old now.

Did not like fabric. Go with another carrier that has lighter, softer fabric (I went with the Solly wrap after I was disappointed with this carrier).

This thing is amazing!! It’s the only way I could get my baby to not scream when shopping and she still loves it at 8 months. It’s so easy to use! I knew a tie one with a ton of steps wasn’t for me, this is perfect! It’s one of my favorite items I’ve bought for her!

Comfortable, could wear baby for naps for his first 3 or so months. It’s great for wearing around the house, but not great for wearing baby out (he would get really sweaty). I ended up also getting the Ergobaby for outdoor walks and errands, which is growing well with the baby.
