Mini crib now, twin bed later
This is our second Babyletto mini crib (our first was a Gelato) and overall we've been very happy with the style, high quality and price of both. Mini cribs are great if you're short on space and know you want your kid in a twin bed down the road, since this crib converts to a twin with a conversion kit that's sold separately. With that being said, the "twin bed conversion kit" is just rails so you'll have to either buy slats (at Ikea, etc.) or make your own wooden insert to go under the
