This is a two-in-one hip seat and three-position carrier for 4–48 months. The removable back panel converts the carrier into hip seat mode.
The ergonomic curved bucket seat comfortably supports baby’s hips, while the wide padded waistband distributes weight evenly for caregiver comfort.
More features include a large storage pocket for your phone or keys, carrier hood for sun protection and nursing and a buckle wasitband for a one-click in and out.

Extremely loose on hips, straps are too long

This carrier is not it if you're looking for an easy way to get your baby in and out. The strap around the hip is also extremely large and hard to adjust, I do not have a tiny figure but even for me the thick strap was overlapping and it wouldn't go any tighter. Unfortunately ergobaby customer service isn't the best either, and despite what it is says on their website returns are not free. Dissapointing

Great fit!
My first time using an ergo baby carrier for my baby. The Alta is very comfortable for me and for my baby. I like the many options of wearing baby in this carrier. Especially looking into the future of a toddler running around who still wants to be picked up for a snuggle.

Good but not for c section moms
My baby loves it! And it’s super easy to wear compared to Omni. However, a lot of the pressure will be on your waist and c-section area.

Fabulous!!
We have an ErgoBaby Carrier, but bought this as a present for Opa to carry his grandson so we did t have to keep adjusting and sharing one. He LOVES it! He always has it ready to walk with his travel buddy.

Must have baby carrier

Best carrier yet
I have 4 carriers and I like this one the most! I love that the upper part can detach and you can just have the seat to let your little one sit on. It's very comfortable with most of your baby's weight on the waist band. It's great to move it to the side to have it on your hip, so you don't have to stick your hip out to hold your baby one handed. He also loves sitting facing outwards to see what's going on and this makes it so much easier on my back and arms.

Haven’t received product after 3 weeks
I would leave a review of the carrier except I haven’t received it after three weeks…. replacement sent with same shipping company and stuck in same waiting limbo with On trac which, based on my experience and others reviews, is a trash shipping company.

Awesome baby carrier!!!
My toddler loves being close to me all the time and this carrier has helped me to carry her comfortably especially when I go shopping!!! This is a must have!!

Stable and well supported
Loving that this carrier firmly seats his weight on my hips and the back support is cool enough even for hot days! I can even take the upper support off for max portability? Fantastic! The waist belt is also padded but super size adjustable so my partner or I can use it despite being vastly different sizes.
