This insert gives your wee one the lift they need to be safe and feel secure in an Ergobaby carrier from day one. (The newer Ergobaby Omni 360 carrier doesn’t require an infant insert, but the Ergobaby Original and 360 require one for babies who are under 12 lbs.)
The pillow at the base acts like a booster seat, placing your newborn higher on your torso where you can easily monitor them, and keeping them in an ergonomic M-shape position.
While the insert’s thick padding is perfect for creating a cozy, womb-like feel, it can quickly make you and your little one super sweaty in warmer seasons or hot climates—the Cool Air Mesh version of this insert may be a better choice for warm weather.

This infant insert works well
This infant insert works well in my Four Position 360 Carrier — the carrier was a hand-me down and is an old model, so I contacted support before purchasing, and they confirmed it would still work with the older model, which is great. My 3 month old is cozy and snug in the carrier using this, and loves to take naps in it!

So glad this was made so we could use the carrier with our baby! I like the wraps but they aren’t quite as hardy and our metro baby is, so it’s perfect!!

This has been a game
This has been a game changer for the baby carrier. Baby girl is nice and snug now. We started using it when she was about 7. 5 pounds and it was just right.

Great piece

Infant Insert to the Rescue!
We had purchased an older model of the 360 carrier off of Facebook Marketplace and discovered that an infant insert was needed. I had reached out to Ergobaby and inquired if this would work with my carrier and they said it would. Purchased it and it arrived quickly! Great product and great customer service!

Pleasantly Surprised Mama and Kiddo
We had not expected such a positive outcome form such a small intervention, but truly the infant insert is really worth it. My baby really wants to be able to see all the action and activity around us during walks and errands, the sizing and the quality can’t be beat. More than pleased with the product and the ergobaby team.
