Description
This infant car seat features load leg technology, providing an extra layer of rear-facing safety by reducing rotation of the car seat in the event of an impact. SnugRide performance helps to protect rear-facing infants from 4-30 lbs and up to 32”.
SnugLock technology installs in less than one minute using vehicle seat belt or LATCH. The headrest and harness can be adjusted together while baby is in the seat with the front-adjust No-Rethread Simply Safe Adjust Harness System.
The Silent Shade canopy adjusts quietly without disturbing baby, and the one-hand adjustable handle makes getting baby in and out easier. Graco’s exclusive InRight LATCH attachment provides a one-second attachment with an audible click to help ensure secure installation.
The 4-position adjustable base and an easy-to-read pendulum level indicator help with proper installation. Infant head and body supports and harness covers offer a comfortable fit.
Create your own travel system or use in multiple cars: The SnugRide DLX attaches with a one-step secure connection to Graco strollers and infant car seat bases.
The car seat is also Graco ProtectPlus Engineered to help protect in frontal, side, rear and rollover crashes.

I received this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I'm impressed. The Load Leg feature makes this Graco SnugRide car seat more secure in my vehicle. The Load Leg gives the seat extra support and tension so that the car seat doesn't move at all. I think the Graco SnugRide with load leg is a great option for those who are really worried about car seat safety. Installation was pretty straightforward. Unfortunately, the height of my back seats apparently isn't quite right for the load leg - it was not "firmly" planted against the floor of my car, and there was just a little wiggle room. Not all carseats are this easy, don't be fooled. This one is EASY and makes me feel very safe driving around with my 7 month old. I really like how lightweight this carrier is. Finally a car seat that doesn’t weigh 20 lbs without the baby In it. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the handle feels cheap and like it may become an issue down the road if used again.
