Description
The HALO SleepSack Ideal Temp Swaddle helps regulate baby’s temperature thanks to innovative material that absorbs, stores and releases heat. IntelliThread fibers are embedded within the cozy fabric and won’t wash out or fade.
The swaddle also features HALO’s signature three-way design that adjusts to fit baby’s sleep style: arms in, hands-to-face or one or both arms out. An inverted zipper (with scratch-free zipper covers) allows for easy diaper changes.
Another good-to-know: the design is recognized by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute as promoting healthy hip development.
“Back is Best” embroidery is a gentle reminder to place baby in this recommended sleep position.
Ideal Temp fabric is designed to be cozy with some stretch for comfort. Because of this, it can run slightly bigger than our other swaddles. Make sure to choose the correct size for your baby’s height and weight. We recommend sizing down if your baby is in between sizes
It should fit snuggly around your baby’s arms and chest. If you notice excess material, the swaddle may be too big. We recommend waiting until your baby is slightly older and bigger to ensure a snug fit.

Good one, wish it could withstand more cold. Not that cozy for winters

This was lighter weight than
This was lighter weight than I thought it would be! In comparison to the organic cotton on I have this one feels lighter/thinner. I use this one when my baby is in micro fleece onesies, I don’t think it would be warm enough over a normal onesie going into the winter months. Likely would have been great for a summer baby!

Velcro is annoyingly loud and
Velcro is annoyingly loud and covers too much of the zipper so you can’t do diaper changes without having to open the whole thing. Disappointed because I was hoping for undisturbed changes in the middle of the night.

These are our child’s favorite swaddles. She doesn’t like having her arm restrained but likes to feel snug. These allow both.

We ordered several sleep sack
We ordered several sleep sack swaddles and it completely changed the game for our babies sleep routine. He settles into sleep faster and stays asleep for longer periods of time. We have recommended these to our friends and plan to buy a new set when he outgrows the current ones we have!

Great but Velcro is very strong!
I had used a Halo fleece sleep sack before this one and loved how it worked. This one is nice that the fabric is thinner and works the same, however the Velcro is SUPER strong and hard to unwrap. This can be more challenging for night time changes as the noise and movement may startle the baby more.

Safety Issue - Covering baby’s face
The fitting and material of the ideal temp swaddle doesn’t allow for a snug fit. It would ride up as baby moved throughout the night and cover the baby’s face. We used other halo sleep sacks in the newborn size and never had this issue.

Works well, design issue
Works well. The Velcro sticks to the teal edge easily and has frayed it already.
