Not worth it
Overpriced, overhyped nightlight. You have to pay for a subscription for most of the sounds. Only useful thing is you can schedule it to turn on and off. I’m sure there is a cheaper nightlight that does the same thing.

I actually have two of these. One for each of my kids rooms. We use them every night and my kids love choosing what color they want it to be.

Amazing product & customer service
Hatch sound machine and the customer service have been nothing short but amazing. My initial impression of the Hatch I ordered on Amazon was not so good as I received a sound machine that was registered to another user. I was about to return it back and never get another Hatch product again when I decided to contact Hatch’s customer service by text. I love my hatch!
I have completely fallen in love with this brand! The quality of the product is phenomenal and I love that I can control everything from my phone. Not only is it the most practical sound machine, clock, and night light, but the design is super sleek and aesthetic that I don’t mind it sitting out on the dresser. A few months ago my hatch randomly stopped working (had to do with my app not wanting to refresh) and I sent an email to customer support- without hesitation they asked for my address and sent me a new one!

Expensive lamp for app that doesn’t work well
I love the machine and concept but the app is horrible. The volume and light buttons are so small that it’s hard to adjust especially in middle of the night. The power off button is so close to the light button that I often hit it And everything turns off. This is also when the app IS working or isn’t taking forever to load. The app refreshes when you close it and you have to open the “lamp” all over again and this can take up a lot of mins when your baby is crying. Love that the clock feature…

Great product and great customer service
So thankful that there is a free option to using this super handy noise and light machine - I can’t afford all these subscriptions. When there was a malfunction with the device, we were sent a replacement very promptly!
It has been beautiful for helping set schedules as well as understand what time it is when the day has slipped by. It also taught my little one as young as 4 months old when it was time to actually wake and stay up!

Best sleep
We’ve been using the Rest 2nd Gen with both of our kids since birth, and they’re now 3 and 5. It’s been a constant part of our bedtime routine and has truly grown with them—from newborn sleep to toddler and preschooler routines. The sound and light features help signal bedtime and create a calming environment every night. It’s been such a reliable, helpful tool for our family, and we’re very grateful for how it’s supported our kids’ sleep over the years.
