Overview

Description

The Swing Maxi is a compact and lightweight hands-free double electric pump with a built-in rechargeable battery. It comes with wearable milk Collection Cups and lanyard for on-the-go portability.

Medela’s Collection Cups are anatomically shaped, designed to comfortably fit breast shape and support effective milk expression. They’re lightweight and discreet, weighing just 2.7 oz each, and have only three parts for easy cleaning and assembly. The transparent design ensures you’re placing your nipple correctly into the tunnel, preventing rubbing and discomfort. The see-through cups show you when milk is flowing, stand vertically to avoid spills and have an easy-pour spout.

Lack of Transparency Hands Free Cup Sizes
I bought this product and have been unable to use because they don’t make cup sizes in less than 21mm. I wasn’t aware that this was the case when I purchased because it’s not in the description or the manual. I had to reach out to Mandela asking if I could get this size to be told it isn’t made.. I would be cautious in purchasing and double check sizing before purchasing.

Most comfortable
Comfort is great! Sometimes the suction is too strong but once I adjust it, it comfortable the rest of the pumping time. It’s a lot more convenient when during chores around the house unlike other wearable pumps. Plus, it is much more quiet. Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants an easy and comfortable pumping experience.

Not really hands free
Suction is not good! I have breastfed all 5 of my kids and I just got this pump wanting to try the hands free ones and this is the worse pump I used. If the milk pumps over 5oz it starts to come back out the nipple hole. When on both breast the suction is weak and you have to hold them and readjust them. I got the pump free from my insurance and I wish I picked a different pump because this one is very frustrating to use

Suction/motor problems
Used for less than a week and the suction kept cutting out. Very frustrating to have to go buy a new one for out of pocket cost so early on.

Half baked design
The pump does its job, but barely. I mean barely in the sense that it appears to have been moved from development to production the moment the first prototype did something useful. This pump is implemented in a very low-effort manner which makes it disappointing to use. The battery is only powerful enough to last through 1.5 sessions, therefore requiring it to be charged after every use. When you try to charge it, you'll discover the USB-C port is not correctly built, so the device will not

DO NOT BUY
We are on our third replacement from Medela for this version of pump, and all three have had a consistant issue with the motor. The motor will lose suction and then start clicking. We might get one or two more pumps out of it before it fails and we're back to square one.

Game changer
Let me tell you the comfort with these is everything. It very portable I am able to pump at work and no one can even hear it. The battery life is pretty good and the ability to increase and decrease the suction is amazing. I was very nervous with wearables due to being a larger chested woman but these have made pumping a game changer

Don’t get
Two stars is generous. The suction is horrible, I have an older pump and wanted to get a new one. I was able to get this one through my insurance and I regret wasting my free pump on this one. Don’t make the same mistake I did. I could never get more than 1.5 oz out of one side at a time with this one. With the OLDER pump I can get at least 5 oz/pump/side. I gave it two stars instead of one because it is portable and convenient but that’s the only upside. There is also no way to close the top

Dissatisfied
Disappointed in this product. I bought through insurance and unfortunately have to get a different pump out of pocket because the suction is horrible just after two months. I’ve gotten clogged ducts and low supply because the suction started slacking.
