Will the washable mattress cover protect from diaper leaks or is that why it could be a good reason to get a waterproof cover?
Best Answer: The mattress cover is not waterproof, so if you're looking for something that is, we'd recommend purchasing another cover.

Does putting a sheet on this mattress reduce the breathability?

I have seen some reviews of the mattress caving in. Is this a common problem?
Best Answer: This issue isn't common. The core of the mattress is designed to be dense, thick and supportive, so this has only occurred with a few mattresses over time.
How can I tell which side is the infant side and which is the toddler side? It is not labeled and feels like the same firmness on both sides.
Best Answer: The hard/firmer side is for infants while the softer side is for toddlers. If you unzip the cover, there should be a tag that tells you which is which.
I saw a review of pictures of the tag from this mattress stating the material is actually polyeurethane foam which goes against everything this mattress is claiming. What's the truth?
Best Answer: These mattresses do contain polyurethane, which is a type of polymer and considered an organic material. So while the foam is made from food-grade polymer, it’s not polyurethane-free.
Does this require a waterproof mattress cover since this is only water resistant?
Best Answer: It's not required but it is recommended that you get a waterproof mattress cover or pad. You can get one separately from Organic Dream.

What is the difference between this mattress and the Organic Cotton Lightweight Crib Mattress for $179?
Best Answer: This version of the mattress is dual-sided and has an infant and toddler side with different firmness.
That’s what i thought, but then what is the other version? Just for infants?
The other version only has one firmness level, which meets all standards for infants. It can be used for toddlers as well, but most people prefer to switch to a slightly softer mattress once their child has hit the toddler stage.
Does this mattress contain flame retardants?

Safe Sleep and Safe Materials= Great Nights Sleep for Baby

Love it so far
No off gassing, soft cover and double sided. Safe materials too. What more could you ask for? The cover zips off for washing and there’s another cover inside which indicates which side is infant and toddler.
