Very nice to have a raincover (and snow cover) that fits to the pack. It folds small and doesn't add much to the pack weight. I like the windows for checking on the baby and for him to be able to watch while he's awake.
Cons: it is difficult to get back into the stuff pocket, especially without being able to lay it down on a table to fold it. I also wish it had more attachment points to the pack, so it could be cinched down in wind (a spare strap of webbing can do this if needed).…

Most comfortable pack we have

Most comfortable pack we have used with our kids. Even when they are pushing 4 and need a good nap while we hike. The storage space and multiple pockets are so helpful and the rain cover has been a life saver. Fits well over the pack and over their legs and feet.

Works ok, but not grea
Keeps the kiddo dry, but if secured as shown on current Osprey instructions, it drains rain into the gear compartment. If you secure the velcro tabs all the way down the frame, the very light velcro tears out eventually. The front lower hardpoints also tear when our kid gets his snowboots under them. We've run up mountains, backcountry skied, and walked around town with this, and it does keep the kid warm, dry, and out of the wind, but be ready to either pack gear in trashbags, or have to reinforce the lower corners and replace the velcro with webbing.

keeps our daughter dry but not all her gear
This cover basically works well since it does the most important job of keeping our daughter dry. It's a bit heavy due somewhat to the clear "window" but that's a nice feature for us and her. The only downside is evident when using it on multi-day backpacking trips where you're filling the main storage area with gear. As shown in the picture, the main storage pocket is not covered and will get wet if it's raining hard. I'm assuming it's a design trade-off for easier access, but hopefully Osprey…
